Those charts give great perspective - it can be lonely providing these cautions, so I appreciate you putting this out.

  • MFC Industrial: Misunderstood And Undervalued With 45% Upside Potential [View article]
Fans of the S&P 500 Heatmap provided on FinViz take note: The MIL stock listed in health care is not MFC, but now inactive Millipore, which was an index constituent when operating.
FinViz seems reluctant to update their HeatMap to keep up with changes in the index, as well as changes in market cap (which are displayed as box size on the heatmap).
When pulling up financial info on MFC on this and other sites, be alert for old Millipore data getting included.

  • The Real Experiment That Is Being Carried Out In Japan [View article]
Interesting read, and reinforces a fundamental point that's relevant here too -- the outlook for household formation.

A small typo in the lead quote from Keynes - he referred to "us" and not (the) U.S.

Interesting point - zero following right now too. I imagine that most people read them on the Bespoke blog site. I read them here to save time, although there's a few regular features that I go to their site for every quarter.
    Be careful out there, omooc.

  • The Ultimate Guide To Finding Double Digit Dividend Growth Stocks [View article]
I worry about the quality of FIN VIZ data, and I'll tell you why: Over a year ago, I noticed that they had Millipore in their seemingly wonderful heatmap of the S&P 500. Thing is, Millipore is no longer in the 500, and the symbol now belongs to MFC Corp (not in the 500). I wrote them a number of times asking about their updating policy and pointing out the error, and they've never responded or done anything about it. So, FIN VIZ might be well-packaged and convenient, but caveat emptor.
