  • Cabot Oil & Gas: Constitution Pipeline Schedule Slips Again; Stock Thesis Remains Intact [View article]
Except for the large economic benefit to the NYC area, I might agree with Robert P. Would expect the Greens in NY may use the pipeline as leverage to get something else near and dear to their hearts. Money talks and nobody walks. Have made money trading COG and hope to in the future.

  • Why Do People Have Such Different Ideas About Retirement? [View article]
Thanks for the article. I am with WMHilger1 when it comes to investing. As for retirement when you can you should. The determination of "can" is an individual decision. In my case 2 months prior to retirement my 18 month old granddaughter came back to town. Helping raise her became one of my main purposes. 6 years later I have experienced much joy and happiness with her. My golf game still is wanting but I enjoy a few rounds now and then. Being debt free is a big part of the equation. Also your health is a big consideration. Having the time in retirement allows you to focus on maintaining health. I am rambling a bit guess that comes with the territory.

  • What If They Come After Fracking? [View article]
As stated very well by others well completion is the issue. In Colorado fracking usually occurs at >5,000'. In addition most water use is from surface supplies ground water does not account for much of our water supply. This is a generalization that usually applies throughout the intermountain west. So the concerns seem to be primarily regional. Production in the Piceance Basin and elsewhere out west may benefit from tighter controls on the industry in the humid eastern regions.

  • Why Electric Beats Natural Gas Vehicles: It's All About The Re-Fueling Network [View article]
Good discussion. When discussing electric cars consider the effect that cold temperatures have on battery performance. During cold weather expected ranges of the electric car will be cut significantly. Couple that with recharging time and the electric car has severe limitations in certain areas. Natural gas refueling infrastructure is being built. In many areas out west I know that UPS and state and local municipalities are using natural gas as a transportation fuel.
