  • Google Claims To Have Defeated Vringo Search Patents [View article]
$25 million per quarter is far too conservative... $40 million per quarter at least! Also don't forget a potential correction of past damages... $120 million rather than $30 million.

    Welcome back Steve!

Guys please take a look at the email threads in document 927:

    http://bit.ly/XQwUVY

It's clear to me that QE wanted to create confusion with their emails so that DS screwed up and then used this as evidence or how ever you wanna call it against Vringo or to keep on delaying this for ever. Don't you think it's too much of a coincidence that Bartholomew Furrow will be outside of the country for a month and a half exactly during the timeframe that JJ could give his ruling? I'm not a lawyer, but this is so obvious and it is pure BS... GOOG just wants to keep on dragging this for ever and ever. Can't wait for JJ's ruling with a 7% RR.

  • Can Vringo Win 7% Royalties From Google? [View article]
I think it is priced in already... Goog's JMOL's denied, pps didn't move; Vrng appealed, pps didn't move; Goog appealed, pps didn't move... IMO a higher than expected RR will move the needle.

  • Can Judge Jackson Still Ignore Google's Work-Around? [View article]
I agree that pps should increase after a positive ruling. If you recall back in October pps reached a high of $5.93 and then plunged due to JJ's laches denial. I believe that this sort of reactions should work both sides.

  • Vringo May Be Vetting A Buyer [View article]
Agreed Kevin. In fact, that might be the reason why JJ granted motion 900 which supports the evidence presented by Vringo regarding royalty base and RR, and at the same time dismisses any attempt by Goog to present other evidence.

  • Did Vringo Traders Overreact To Google's Flip Flop? [View article]
"His article played a big role in the price spike, but like I said, I doubt he expected it to have that kind of move." I will have to disagree on this one Omar, since all of DR's articles have had an important impact on vrng pps (all of them intended to decrease it). I can't believe that he didn't know what was going to happen to pps with his first article. Then publicising a second article the next day knowing that his articles do have an important impact on the stock price (30% within 24 hours for instance) is completely inappropriate. I'm not an expert trader at all but it is so obvious that he knew what was going to happen so taking advantage of it is wrong!

And more importantly... would you please provide an clear explanation of how do you get a $350-500K lump sum? With no explanation what so ever, any range posted has no basis whatsoever.

I agree with you. It's almost impossible to time his decisions and generally speaking his previous rulings have not been in the best interests of VRNG. Let's see what happens.

  • How Will Judge Jackson Handle Google's Confirmed Workaround?‎ [View article]
Many of us won't wait for that to happen. I sell on the hype when the stock pops to $6. Will get back in only if management provides information of what they are working on and how the expect to monetize their patents portfolio.

  • Investing In The Erin Brockovich Of The Stock Market [View article]
Haven't read the Merger Agreement but if MARA is able to obtain the $6MM financing and issues 7MM shares to close the merger we could easily see it's pps to drop to $0.25 ish (50% drop approx.). Currently no revenues and in the short run it seems highly unlikely that the company will be able to generate any revenues, or even if it does it is very difficult to quantify them beforehand. Add to this a quarterly cash burn of $1.5-$2MM approx. or more. Interesting patents portfolio though. Might consider getting in at $0.15 levels or so if there are no revenues announcements before or once the deal closes.

Clearly QE wanted to confuse and deceive. IMO DS managed it pretty well and provided supporting evidence.
