And that new fiat currency will likely be backed by PMs. Forty to fifty years later, it'd eventually turn into another currency back by nothing and collapse. Rinse, wash .........

My realestates in NY have gone up 300 to 400% since 1995. My gold is up around 55% since 2009. My stock portfolio, which I paid little attention until 2008, is close to breaking even since 2001.

May I ask how did you make 3000% since 2008?

  • CBO: Budget Deficit To Drop 'Markedly', Threatens Economic Stablity [View article]
I thought a BIG RESET is coming a little over two years ago. I figured there is no way the economy could be sustainable for more than 2-3 years. I still think it's coming but I'm not too sure about the timing anymore.

Maybe the big reset is right around the corner, it always happen when it's least expected.

  • Iran, The Dollar And Financial Warfare [View article]
I believe Chindia is already playing Iran. I don't think they can afford to not play Iran since most of their oil come from that area. As the matter of fact, some of our staunchest allies, South Korea and Japan, are begging to be exempted from the sanction.

Unless a guarantee is given to these nations that there will not be any interruption of oil supply, we gonna have problems. As crazy as it sounds, I am beginning to concur with Ron Paul that it might be better off to just let it be.

I'm surprise to learn that the Chinese soldiers were remnants of the KMT. They fought bravely with limited resources and supports. Many of their corpses were found with cotton khaki uniforms and tattered shoes which offered little protection from the winter elements. They had nothing going for them other than sheer number of troops and the initial element of surprise.

I always thought that their generals were as stupid as our politicians. But now it all makes sense, they were purposely sent to the mass grave in Korea.

  • Iran, The Dollar And Financial Warfare [View article]
Do you really think Iran offered their help with good intention? Iran never expressed the desire to give up their nuclear ambition. Iraq was raped by Saddam Hussien and the Sunnis minority long before we were there. Most of that 1/2M Iraqis die in the hands of other Muslims in sectorial dispute for power. Iran think we are the great Satan since we betrayed the first democratically elected Prime Minister Mossadegh.

Btw, you do know that the little Satan is Israel, right? If you had read the hadiths and the Koran, then you'd know what Hollywood said is true.

Personally, I'm with Ron Paul. I think we should mind our own business and let the world burn. However, if we stay the current course, what choice do we have but to utilize our nuke as an ultimate shock and awe. Trying to resolve this matter with conventional warfare which we cannot afford to begin with, would drag on forever and might likely escalate into WW III with the Russians and the Chinese.

Lastly, we were not there for their stinking 144B barrels of oil. We were there for the stinking euro.

The credibility of a currency is highly dependent on perception. If the Chinese or Indian paid the Iranian oil with 95% RMB/rupees and 5% gold just a few times, the fate of the dollar is likely sealed.

However, I don't see the Chinese doing that as long as they are still holding massive amount of dollars.

  • S&P 500 Snapshot: Eking Out Another Gain [View article]
This market is beyond "manipulated". It's just like what happened after S&P hit 666 back in March 09. The market went up on low volume and was not allow to correct. The only difference is that the volume went up gradually in 09's vs. the volume is declining gradually in the current melt up.

The S&P's volume were around 530M on Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday volume was 595M. It's indeed dream like and surreal.

The only thing that is bugging me about your theory is that China is still holding over $2 trillion US dollar. How do they benefit by destroying its reserve currency status?
