  • Why Dick Bove Is Wrong About Citigroup [View article]
Bove has a press enabled reputation as one who is more relevant
than the next analyst. He is not ........but like a few others his calls can effect stock price regardless of other sensible measures.

And as you have outlined a real rattlesnake when questioned.

Citi remains a bloated entity in need of true leadership that it wil never get with Pandit or Dick (what's his true role ?) Parsons.

    Peace out ...........

  • Jim Cramer Has Reversed On Apple Because He Doesn't Understand It [View article]

I'm with you on the "real" AAPL story going forward.

The stock is a winner in all respects and especially in what they will
unveil in time however the folks who make the most noise and that
CNBC crowd seems intent on muting enthusiasm.

I would fade the fact that the current naysayers would not dare
short AAPL as when the current and future holders see what
men like yourself know, this "beast" would just run them over.

  • LeapFrog Enterprises: Recent Sell-Off Provides An Excellent Entry Point [View article]
Jason....thank you for a comprehensive piece on LF.

While LF is priced in spec land, it is anything but with excellent fundamentals and a terrific product line.

I am long at 6.56 and 7.39. If I were looking for a dividend play I look elsewhere.Show me the price appreciation that LF can provide and I
am on the right side of this trade which could very well become a long term hold on performance.

  • Annaly Capital: Time for Caution on This Dividend Paying REIT [View article]
    Thank you John..........

Too often we may get too comfortable with a position and simply expect "same old".

While I have a position in NLY it is not sizeable enough nor will I commit enough to make much money on a trade on pull-backs.However, I feel I must be extra diligent with NLY as the yield is my only attraction.

The historic range of NLY is another consideration.

I look forward to your future posts.

Thank you for another job well done !

While I have always appreciated the benefits
companies have with solid FCF I have never
seen a comparative such as the batch you assembled or vs. a meaningful index.

Keep truckin' for the great "unwashed".

Good have to tell us how you really feel.

Next time don't hold back. I smell arrogance on their part once again and we know what comes after that.

  • After Long Run, Apple Chart Turns Bearish [View article]
You know what........boys and girls ?

APPL is going a lot higher (try 250) and this piece only re-enforces
    my disdain for chart readers.

Oh yeah....once in awhile they hit a single
off a nice slow moving pattern but overall they simply give solid
fundamental, patient investors a shot at putting on a position at a
"steal" price if enough readers fall into the drivel !

    Good investing be yours,

  • 3D Systems: For Experienced Speculators And Momentum Players Only [View article]
    Thank you Afam...................

The high P:E would not ordinarily beckon a buy from me but with the extraordinary possibilities of 3D printing and more importantly creation, I feel compelled to own both DDD & SSYS.

The charts do show heavy resistance when either enterprise makes a new high and I have been with DDD since 26.00 a copy so I have felt the angst. I will stay with both, however, as I am a believer that they are first in this amazing (to the writer) technology.

Tom Durkin .... best to you & all respondents.

  • Goldman Sachs And Morgan Stanley Are Backing The Truck Up For Nokia Shares [View article]

Thank you for providing the actual sell rec from GS.....

The behavior of the investment banks is simply reprehensible. Throwing out a sell on NOK and then loading up after the reaction of the rec has hit is nothing new to these mutts @ GS and scores of others.

I never take the publicized "Conviction Buy"...or any other advice from duplicitous all comes down to your own dd as always.
I have no position in NOK but I wish the good guys good luck.

  • 6 Cloud Stocks: Where Are The Buys? [View article]
The pain that comes with EMC ownership is the waiting for VMW to fire on all cylinders and a lack of any dividend income.

The trading range is gruesome and while I am long EMC the temptation to move on and re-visit down the road is ever present.

Frankly I do not know why EMC is mentioned in your Mission Statement.

I will say this however, your articles are extremely well written and thoughtful for the most part.

    Thank you,

  • Calumet's 7.4% Growing Dividend Yield Is On My Watch List [View article]
Thank you Todd for all of your salient remarks on CLMT and those who contributed through posts.

I like the yield in CLMT and CLMT as an ongoing buy on dips
or not. I am long and will add without reservation if CLMT keeps executing on all cylinders.

The short selling miscreants are busy in this space and refiners in general. Perhaps they are simply going after the run ups in CLMT,
DK etc. I like both and FMC as well as they offer three different products coming out.

There is little hope for strong crude prices unless we get a blockade or worse from *those misled ruling zealots in Iran. While that action would be short lived the lower crude pricing helps the entire group as you well know.

*As the exasperated say "Don't get me started" !

Look forward to your posts and those who follow.

  • Retail Outperformance Can't Last [View article]
Did you overlook ROST ? Discount retailers of Men's and Women's apparel or is there mention in prior posts ?

While ROST is off it's highs this outfit never misses.

    Great entry at these levels.

I am currently not long ROST but it is certainly on my radar.

  • How To Think About Small To Mid Cap Biotech Firms: Market Manipulation, Stop Losses And 'Stop-Hunts' [View article]
Gee whiz.........and where have so many retail investors gone ?

Oh yeah it's a fair and open market:

    1.Gunning for stops.
    2.Black pools.
    3.Miscreant hedge fund managers.

And on and on............the S.E.C. ? It seems as if these folk have to
have some criminal fall through their ceiling before real action is taken.

Federal legislation ? Sure that's the answer.

If you are not mugged on your way to the Floor or pistol whipped
by mutts with managed money,we'll see you around.

Excellent piece with solid numbers to back up.

I am long VZ as it continues to pick up steam in a tumultuous
market......Love that free cash flow they generate with great
    execution across the board.
