The only way that these stocks will rise is if "the tidecomes in" for the market in general. Tomorow is options expiration so nothing will surprise me.

I agree with Mark but Ithink that there is easier money elsewhere. There are too many people like the first comment that have these financials over rated - because of media spin I suppose- and the fact that you never know when uncle is going to send more money.

That is the largest source of income for the financialsright now so youdon't want to get in too deep against them. Pick on the stores where the cards are used and I think you will fare better.

I bought puts on Kohls @$40 and so far it looks good to more downside.

If you are serious about being a financial writer then you are goin to have to be serious about your subject matter and its content.
For example: the Canadian energy trusts are of overwhelming interest to most of us. What is the politcal climate telling us?
For example: I have been looking at Annaly(NLY). They seem to play on the interest rate differentials in the market. I would like to know exactly what and how they do that.
That is just a couple of items that readers would be grateful for good - GOOD- information.

Stop writing what everyone knows. It looks as though you are auditioning for a job.

What Pickens is doing is not all that bad because we do need alternatives, but it is being done to keep the market going and to keep money in the market and away from silver and gold.
