Are you sure that it is an oversupply or problems with the refinery maybe.

I don't have a clue but I thought Iwould just throw that out. You would think these guys that write, if they deem themselves analytic writers, would put it all together so we could have a comprehensive view. It looks like we could have a real winter coming upon us and heating fuel will be in demand and this will help drive the refineries.

I did not see in the article or in the comments anything about the hedge funds affect on this current price. I don't think they have been completely flushed out and I think oil could go a little lower between now and the first quarter. After that fresh money will start coming in and I think you will see oil trend back up - especially when th edollar starts to decline from all of the stimulus.

The tanker storage is not something new. That has been a recuring matter.

Also not a word about Mexican oil drying up in the next five or six years.

Amdrew Mickey should be a used car salesman.

  • Canadian Royalty Trusts in Need of an American Revolution [View article]
While I did not agree with your previous paper you make a good point here but maybe we ar ejumping the gun. Maybe they feel as Ido in that the trusts will prosper and they want to take advantage of that early on.

I think the Oct surprise right before the election in 06 was more to helpstabilize the money leaving this country for Canada more than anything else. These were really gaining momentum.

While there may be some that reduce dividends I think that low priced oil is temporary andhas been driven to low extreems by the hedge funds selling. The dollar is headed down. The hedge funds will be back. The Canadian currency will appreciate. And these trusts might have the safest yields on the planet when thedust settles.

  • Investors Shift Focus to Canada's Energy Sector [View article]
They are talking their book andtrying tohelp drive the price of the trusts down. You can rest assured that they will be in them as well by the first quarter and they are hoping that their entry price will be lower.

These trusts will be some of the few dividend options alive and well in another year. All that crap about the tax in 2011 is a non-issue because they can opt to become a regular corporation and then will become a growth stock. Holders of the trusts will win either way.
