Shlomi , I guess it never occurred to you that (MGIC) shares soared not just because of Cooperman mention but because the company was given free advertisement to investors who saw that it had fallen nearly -40% since Feb. 3rd. Bears had gone on a 6 week attack in basically all stocks in the Cloud Sector between 2/3/11 to 3/16/11.
Did some of the Cloud Sector stocks deserve to go down -20 to -40% in that time period? Yes , some were supporting forward PE's over 100. Did MGIC deserve it? No, MGIC forward pe is still below 20 even after the recent rise and its Revenues surged 73% last qtr. While net income rose at an even faster pace.
MGIC got noticed as an undervalued Cloud Computing company, your trying to take that free advertising away and its not gonna happen.
