Ben Piper, Director of the Strategy Analytics Multiplay Market Dynamics service (MMD), has over twelve years’ experience in market strategy development, research and consulting in the Information Technology and Telecommunications sectors. His experience spans the globe, and includes substantial background in the Asia Pacific and European markets. Mr. Piper has extensive experience working with Service Provider and vendor clients alike. As Director of the MMD service, his focus is on competitive intelligence and strategies of the world's major Service Providers, insight into drivers of user adoption and customer retention, and analysis and forecasting of adoption and growth of multiplay services. In 2003-2004, Mr. Piper authored two of the earliest syndicated research reports predicting the emergence, growth, and business models of WiFi hotspots in North America and Asia. Prior professional experience includes roles at inCode Advisors, International Planning & Research, Lucent Technologies and Forrester Research. Mr. Piper holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of International Management, a BA from Tulane University, as well as certificates from Université de Paris IV-Sorbonne and Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
