when the savings and loan institutions existed the wall street mafia had to compete for deposits and other business, S&L's were taken down by milken, we should re-establish them and no deposit ever goes to Wall Street mafia again. compete them into oblivion. Here in UK we had building societies which offered the best savings rates and best mortgage rates. this mean City of London crime syndicate could not get billions in bonuses, the building societies like the s&l's were destroyed similar to what happened to savings and loans. Competition is what we need and this ends wall street mafia hegemony.

I found out a lot about CNBC from a website called Deep Capture, it has had to fight a lawsuit to stay online. Buffet prodigy Patrick Byrne of overstock is behind the website. It will blow your mind.

  • Rebuttal: 'Is A House Really A Good Investment?' [View article]
How strange is it that house purchase/rent is such a huge part of peoples expenditures yet very little research is done on this subject, we need an Einstein of real estate to provide a "unified theory" for real estate sector. it must be pretty easy to determine a measure which creates a "margin of safety" when buying real estate.
