Come on. There is not an MNO on the planet that will spend the billions on ugrades and subjugate their network to a handset vendor. it works the other way around.

Plus the iphone will not even come close to the 10Million handsets spouted by jobs. A couple of months ago ATT said they had interest from a million consumers - and that was at the peak of the PR frenzy. Cisco emerged from the early 2000 bubble carnage stonger than ever, and remains one of the most profitable large companies in history. they have methodically and successfully identified and penetrated new markets since the company was formed. what facts do you have that suggest their formula will not be successful in emerging markets?
