Did Barron's Really Pan All Commodity Investing?

I am really surprised hearing so many intelligent people placing so much emphasis on the commercial net short position. They established this position back in 04, if you followed this "smart money" you would have missed one of the best opportunities to make big money in commodities. The real emphasis as mentioned in this article is the extreme long spec positions, which are not only small investors but large hedge funds. Many articles are forgetting to mention that these guys are simply hedging, notice that they've covered shorts into this correction.
