  • Why I Believe SunPower Will Decline Dramatically [View article]
Excellent article, while I disagree with conclusions.

#1 Do your costs per watt include the newly imposed tariffs on Chinese panels?

#2 The company's cost structure can come down with increased production and acceptance of their higher efficiency panels.

#3 Solar demand in general will take off when natural gas, coal and crude oil prices explode from PONZI scheme money printing, and/or Middle East supply disruptions. When this happens, all solar, especially leading US makers will see a very large increase in demand year after year.

  • Time To Start Fearing For Equities [View article]
Nice job. What would surprise the most people in the short-run, would be a massive 20%-30% drop in March-April. Everyone is expecting the market drop after the summer, not before. Any correction of 5%-10% will be treated like the best time to buy in decades! Much like the sentiment on the first 10% sell-off in August-September 1987, buying stocks days before a crash can be hazardous to your wealth.

  • How Inflation Could Happen In The U.S. [View article]
    Points well taken and explained.

The easiest way to "control" inflation is to under-report it in economic stats like the GDP deflator and CPI.

Both have been accomplished with EASE the last 20 years.

If you adjust the price of goods and services like done in the done 1970s or early 1980s, inflation is running closer to 5% in 2012, and averaged closer to 6% annually since the fudging began, to keep govt expenditures under control, and the populace under the grip of a managed economy.

Websites like Shadow Stats have documented the fraud being pertrated at the highest levels on America.

If you "adjust" for the real inflation out there, real GDP has acutally been in decline for 20, if not 30 years in America.

Back to meaningless arguments, that money printing does not add to inflation.

  • U.S. Debt: An Enormous Problem With Simple Solutions [View article]
Let me help with the math: a 10% fall in nominal GDP into 2014 means our deficits and debt will explode to 12-13% of GDP annually, and our debt to GDP will be in the banana republic range of 150% by 2015.

Now let's assume GDP is 10% SMALLER in 2 years than today....

The government ALWAYS overestimates economic growth and tax receipts.
