The Obama administration's decision on the Keystone oil pipeline (TRP) will not be made until at least June, a U.S. official tells Reuters, which would delay the project for months and frustrate backers of Canada's oil sands. "It's not weeks until the final decision," according to the source. "It's months." [View news story]
Come on obama, you know what you are going to do. So, tell us. You mean to tell me canada's dirty oil is worse than ours. Lets put America to work and help out our next door neighbor at the same time. Building solar panels (remember that was a $500 million disaster plus) ain't going to get it. And if you think a bunch of ugly noisy windmills are going to do it, forget it. By the way, go live next to them noisy suckers. You are the President of the United States of America. Start acting like one for heaven sakes. Quit giving our hard earned tax money to muslim countries that don't even like us.

What a great article. Showing all the projects coming on line. Nothing in the world beats slow and steady. Long EPD, ETP, MMP, SDRL. A great company for unit holders.

5 Dividend Stocks That Act Like Money Machines [View article]
I agree with the above author. I bought this sucker back in April of '11. The price was fourty. This is a depleting aset. It goes to zero. The dividend goes up and down according to price and volume. I want a asset thar grows in value, has a great divd, with divd. and or better distribution increases in the future. Not no, but #### no! If we sold out now for the price per share and divds. received we are down $2000. Figures don't lie. Not considering MMP has almost doubled since we bought it in the same time frame!!!!!!!

Ahhhhhaa, boys and girls this story is just like watching the soap "The Young and the Restless. It just goes on and on and on, it doesn't get any better, each week just gets worse and worse, and they don't get rid of the hated players fast enough. I want to get out when it gets back to $10 or $11. Somebody should be laughing.
Pres. Obama’s emphasis in his inaugural address on fighting climate change may not bode well for U.S. approval of the Keystone pipeline, Canada’s finance minister worries. U.S. conservatives such as WSJ's Kim Strassel fear the president could further delay approval on Keystone and other energy issues, such as natural gas exports, to extract a heavy price: a carbon tax. [View news story]
You know the Lord says in Psalms, "go populate the earth". He did not say anything about green house gas, carbon emissions, etc. If there is any green house emissions, it is more from sun spots. Also He has appointed the seas their boundaries. Every living creature is made up of carbon. That is why we have trees an grass to take the carbon out of the air and give us back oxygen. Every windmill emits ozone as the generator turns. Why is our congress not watching over this instead of our little dictator? We just as well get rid of our elected officials if they are not going to step up to the plate.

Ed Bickford, I love your comment. Hey boys and girls, all these MLP's go to the secondary market to raise cash at sometime or another. When are you people going to realize slow and steady is the name of the game. All stocks can not be a SXL or MMP. Go look at these since the begining. Where were you when they came out. The average investor makes maybe six % ayear trading and we get 8% to wait. ETP is going to shine this year. If you want fast money go to Vegas. Long ETP, MMP, EPD, MMLP, SDRL.
Why Energy Transfer Partners Is Cheap: It's Complicated [View article]
Elliot, thank you for a wonderful article on ETP. I used to follow you with Utility Forecaster and then you left this summer. I wondered where you went. Will now have to sign up. I am so happy to read a thorough article on ETP. I always looked forward to your articles that were pretty much correct. You have an excellent way of explaining things. I used this low pullback to add to my ETP position and to have a lower cost basis.
I have owned this dog for longer than I want to remember. Now is not the time to bail. Is it perfect? No. But bigger rewards are coming. Hang in there people. It is just starting to get better.
Ashraf, thank you for this informative article. It is well written from the perspective of one who not only knows but can also teach others. I do not know sicem about chips, but I can tell from what someone writes that they do and I can learn. Every company has something that others do not and or other companies try to do the same thing but only cheaper. As a farm boy if you want good clean fresh oats for the horse, these cost a premium. However, if you want oats that have already been through the horse, these are cheaper. INTC did not become great with used oats. I am a follower, thank you.

This is how MLP's survive. Issue new stock, pay down debt or buy new business or parts of one. Stock drops, (buying opportunity), ebitda increases stock rises divd. goes up. In this case stock has been rising Good sign hang tight. I would guess a distribution around the corner.
