  • Why Medical Marijuana Inc. Has Lost Its Buzz [View article]
Jim Cramer is a stock promoter. He has a show, it's about stock promotion.

He's working in the interest in other companies and investors. You can bet your ass every play they put in a word BUY near the top they own shares from way back near the bottom.

Sometimes he makes good picks, has enlightening things to say, preaches common sense but that doesn't change the fact that he is essentially a stock promoter. For the most part he's basically just doing a favor for companies whose stock price is topping off while the "in" crowd is invested too deeply.

I would wait to buy MJNA the price is high.

OR at least be prepared to average down.

  • Marijuana Stocks Could Be Setting Up For A Nice Short Squeeze [View article]
CANV looks like not many people are convinced at all. The volume is low and has been low the entire history of the company.

Looks like another shell with a front trying to ride on the coat-tails of this sector.

Marijuana is like a key-word for a corporation. Use it and you will attract traders. The key is separating the BS companies from the true companies looking to establish revenues worthy of a corporation, while accomplishing high growth. Some of these public marijuana corporations should really be private, they have no plans on hitting it big. RFMK, ERBB and MJNA are the companies I bump every chance I get. All legitimate, all with huge prospects. ERBB could make billions distributing, millions more with their other products. MJNA could establish its' product line and in doing so could attain hundred million revenues in a short few years. RFMK is developing a product line in a billion dollar niche and has some stunning networking and marketing prospects.

Good article, good to bring to light the less savory companies of the sector but you're completely disregarding the hidden gems. Once RFMK becomes current and starts promotion of their new product line hop on, it's going to be an awesome buy. Actually at its' current price it already is an awesome buy. But I know how sitting on a flat stock can test someones patience. It's tested mine, we were supposed to get current financials last year, when the CEO comes through with that we should be ready to rock on past a penny and beyond.

I wouldn't expect day-traders have more money to make than long term investors of the legitimate companies here. RFMK, ERBB and MJNA are companies that come across as very legitimate with very bright futures ahead of them.

I don't see why people would day-trade these stocks when there is SO MUCH MORE MONEY TO BE MADE IN LIQUID MARKETS.

Sure most of the companies in this sector have no plans on going big, so they essentially offer no more value to investors than its' short term trading prospects. But there are a few ones that are legitimate and have very big plans for the future, IMO ERBB and RFMK are the 2 stars to look at. Don't let the market caps fool you, they have a lot more going for them than these marijuana companies with 100 million + market caps.

HEMP already ran and took profits, so it's going to need some time before it runs again. I have never been a fan of CBIS. Seems more like a shell with a cover up business (which is essentially marijuana pro-activism which I have no problem with) in the right sector at the right time. The stock operates responsibly, but the upside is severely limited due to the companies lack of current profit prospects. IT does offer a good trade for ballsy swingers though, I have to admit that.

$5.00 a share is possible within these next 3 years but the company will have to be on track with extremely aggressive revenue and branding growth. I agree I think MJNA is a good long - term, one of the companies that could last the decade.

These companies with very little trading action and hundred-million dollar market caps are concerning to me.

GWPRF and CANV are not something I would invest in as an institution unless I was planning on buying the whole thing if there was a sell off by management. MDBX looks OK but I would wait for it to get cheaper.

Looking at the big picture here; if these claims are true that is a bit unprofessional but in reality all that matters is if people buy this product. Most consumers wouldn't even think twice about this little controversy.

Awesome very interesting information. I'd give them some room for error since they are pioneers of the industry but again that is a very interesting claim.

CANV has a red flag for me, a big (relatively) 100 million dollar market cap, while being very thinly traded.

Being owned mostly by management is an even bigger red flag in this scenario. This likely means they will sell at a high price to any considerable buys as soon as they possibly can.

They might just be riding on the coat - tails of this blooming sector. Keep your eye on the realest companies in the sector. MJNA, RFMK and ERBB. MDBX price is a bit high ATM but it comes across as legitimate to me.

I would look at ERBB mod-term and RFMK long. They are the best in the sector IMO, MJNA is winding the stock down for accumulation so it's not a great buy at this price.

Right on MDBX opened at too high a price, it's better to have a small market cap company prove itself than to have a big market cap which hasn't yet proved itself, but looks like it will in the future. The upside is limited ATM.

It's high risk high yield stuff, the risk is manageable though considering this business is legal, and protections are being made on the federal level to protect state legislation.
