  • Is Organovo Just Hype? [View article]
Does their suing Simeon Research disprove the fact that the underwriters they chose to hire have execrable records with the SEC and are associated with a litany of scams and pump and dumps?

The Silence of the Longs. Terrifying picture.

It seems that the sudden appearance of article after article last Fall - particularly in Motley Fool - praising ONVO to the skies and driving the stock as high as 13.50 were paid for by . . . . ONVO! Actually I'm not surprised as I believed even at the time that a lot of this had to be due to paid promoters. It turns out to be true. It's all well researched and articulated by Simeon Research.

The heat is on now, no doubt the SEC is looking into this, which explains why we're not seeing anymore of these kinds of fluff pieces (with the stock heading down to the 5's on its way back to 2's).

  • A Very Detailed Look At Organovo [View article]
Yes my take is that ONVO is not only a 'sham' but a 'scam' too. With minimal money they succeeded in reverse mergering a tiny OTC stock into a higher profile AMEX stock, told a great story about themselves and raised tens of millions of dollars in the process. The money will keep the company alive and paying salaries and perks and options to the Insiders for years to come. They've already awarded themselves so much stock that the CEO is able to sell 100,000 shares a MONTH like it was nothing. He's already made $45,000,000 in the last FIVE MONTHS.

    Oh and the company has already raked in $3M in revenue during it's entire existence. That smells kind of scammy but if you really want to know if ONVO's a scam don't take it from me, take if from Richard Pearson and Citron and the latest most damning piece by Simeon Research;

I keep expecting that anyday now I'll wake up with the stock halted by the SEC.

  • LiveDeal: Likely To Lose More Than Half Its Value In The Coming Days - $2 Price Target [View article]
I tried reporting the hijacking of the LIVE Yahoo Message Board to Yahoo via the 'abuse' function. Nothing ever came of it. I've come to the conclusion that Yahoo knows about this and that it continues means they accede to it. This leads me to the conclusion that Yahoo rented out the board to the spammers since obviously the normal banner ads aren't going to get a lot of clicks where the board's become useless.

You're doing your best to obfuscate the issue Ecapo. No one has claimed that his selling is illegal. That's not the point. The reason Keith's selling is news is because once a month he generates more news by dumping another 100,000 shares on the market. If you had a better handle on investing you'd know that Insider selling can be very indicative and definitely worth knowing about. It's why they're required to file a Form 4 within three days of any transaction.

You haven't explained why he's so intent on selling so much stock right now even after having hauled in $4.5M in the last five months? It says that he doesn't believe his own hype about the company. If the prospects were as good as he claims then he would be the first to know that those shares he's selling now would be far more valuable in the future. Clearly he doesn't believe it (and he's right, those shares are going down).

As they say when something makes no sense and doesn't compute you need to ask yourself 'why'?

Meanwhile the air is escaping from this balloon and the short money keeps rolling in. $6.75 is an interesting milestone and it's just around the corner. Then we'll be 50% off the 52-wk high. And we're already below the 50 and 200 dma's meaning most of the stockholders are now bagholders.

You can't say you weren't warned.

btw- If you think that my comments are making the stock go down I thank you for your faith in my influence although I believe you're giving me far too much credit, ie- ONVO's going down fine without any help at all.

Yes!! If the article's about making new v-g-n-s why can't we say the word?

What if someone starts printing out new penises? Is that word banned too? Err, oops, p-n-s-s :)

It's not okay for the CEO to cash in 100,000 shares of stock a month for a company that has negative earnings and zero revenues all while he personally continually hypes their prospects. If their prospects are so good he should make a show of it by holding those shares. He's already sold $4,500,000 worth of stock in the last FIVE MONTHS!! Wouldn't that be enough? That's only 50% more than all the revenue generated in the entire company's history!

As for the 'big name pharmas' putting money here care to name one?

This stock is beginning to feel like ol' Humpty-Dumpty. They keep trying to put that magic 'anything's possible!!' gloss back on the stock; pitching it to the dumb money crowd (Retail Investor Conferences) which obviously worked for all of one day - yesterday (then sold off again today to mid 7's), and a steady flow of promotional pitches. Meanwhile the insiders keep liquidating stock no matter how low the price goes.

The braindead momentum that powered up the junkiest of stocks last year is beginning to roll backward and this ONVO egg story is beginning to look like a sticky mess.

  • What Should Investors Do With Fonar? [View article]
I can't speak to the technicals but it seems to me that based on the massive correction from the nosebleed high 26's to mid 15 that this is the time to establish a long position. The PE is around 10 and even if the growth rate drops - it has to drop - from nearly 100% to say 25% - this is an awfully good deal.

This isn't some momo stock based on hopes and dreams, this is a growth stock priced as a value stock. How often do you see that these days?

The last laugh belongs to he who was right about ONVO being little more than a money extraction operation that lines the pockets of the top execs via MILLIONS OF DOLLARS A MONTH in stock sales.

That was 16 years ago. Times change. Since then he's built a rock-solid reputation for unearthing scams. The proof is in the pudding since when he reports a scam those stocks tend to fall apart.

So, no, you haven't the least credibility as an anonymous poster than Citron. No one sells a stock on your say-so.

Sounds to me that the ONVO hype campaign can no longer rope enough dopes to float a nosebleed level and enable CEO Murphy and his cronies to make over $1,000,000 per month selling their stock to the public.

The party's over but some people just never know when to go home.

You can tell I'm nervous? Frankly this is prima facia an idiotic concept. Do you get scared when you're making a ton of money?

'this is the time when shorts get scared'

That's hilarious ECapo. Yes what get's shorts scared is the stock plummeting and making so much money, lol. Of course we get scared too when the stock goes up and we're losing money. I guess we're just always scared no matter what, right?

'We're very close to 8 which any cursory look at a chart will tell you is a strong support level going back to early Nov. If we pierce that this could go south in a real hurry.'

I find myself so quotable! lol

The market gave the momos such a pass for such a long time that I was beginning to think we'd moved permanently into Bizarro World. Naturally with so much confirmation from other momos they began to think they were trading geniuses. Alas, it appears the party's over. Now it's just a question of who the smarter ones are who get out before they ride this all the way back to fair value (1.00 - 2.00).
