Kayne Anderson Energy Development Company (KED) is NOT a micro-cap stock! It is a closed end FUND comprosed of a number of energy MLPs, often trading at a discount or premium to net asset value. Great investment, but BAD discription of the issue/position.

Many ways to skin a cat, but the main issue is; does CHK still own all those leases? If they do and theIr liquids mix is growing, we still have a $35.00 company. Now if you tell me that they own NO leases or if natural gas stays below $2.00 for the next 2-3 years and oil goes to $70. then we need to run for the hills

CHK knows that Nat Gas prices will need 2-4 years to rebound, and in the meantime they are becoming more liquid centric, ref: their Utica (shale) activity. I suggest that one counts the power plants that are converting from coal to Nat Gas.

CHK is now in Kansas, rumors are that they have acquired 400,000 acres. Makes sense, as KS would just be an extension of the many OK energy plays. RDS-A and SD are also buying in central KS. Fracking just brings the gas and liquids to the surface.

Imagine that BO, the guy from Hawaii (or is it Chicago) who is supposed to be leading our country, wakes up one morning and decides to STOP fracking, in favor of his "GREEN STUFF?" What is the probability of that happening?

You forgot to mention the Utica play for CHK, it will be a significant play in the near future and it's "wet." How simple, eastern Ohio is adjacent to their PA and the wet stuff will be heaviest in eastern Ohio. It could easily add $25.00/share to their stock and I mean their real value and not today's $25.91/share.

Windows "8" and Windows Phone "8," what about their "7" versions? All that development money wasted on Vista and Windows 7, never mind Windows Phone 7. What a waste of resources to build a less than stellar product.

David Sokol may be an "OK" energy guy, but he is not a financial wizzard, i. e., Warren and Charlie. There is no one who can replace Warren, so without him, BRK is just another stogy Mutual Fund with very little leadership. It will have been a great ride and maybe we can have Warren for another 10+ years.
