I agree that ALU is a highly speculative stock. However, take a look at S when it was close to $2 a share and Clwr when it was under $1. Everyone was tearing them apart and now S is trading over $7 and Clwr is over $3. ALU is at the same point they were, but have much more to offer. Just take a look at all the markets they are getting into. Yes, it is HIGHLY speculative, but with risk comes reward...

The Endgame At Clearwire: Let The Negotiating And Gamesmanship Begin

So I own 3,300 shares of Sprint, which I bought at $3 and 4,700 shares of Clearwire, which I bought at $2. I'm finally doing alright with both stocks, but with all that's going on I am at a loss of what I should do next.

What are the chances of a Dish-Sprint partnership and what would that mean for Sprint's stock?

Softbank said that it's capping Sprint's offer on Clearwire at $2.97 a share, should I sell Clwr now?

Why has Clwr gone up another 20 cents today, wouldn't you expect a dip considering how Softbank announced a cap on Sprint's bid?

Analysts are saying that, judging on past deals in the industry, Clwr should be selling for 4x as much. We all know that's not going to happen, but what are the chances of Sprint making an offer of $5 - $6 a share?

When the Softbank-Sprint deal is finished, should I take the $7.30 a share and run? Should I go full in "New Sprint?" Should I split between the two? I'd like to hear some speculation on how analysts' believe "New Sprint" will perform six months after the deal, a year after the deal, maybe even longer.

Most of the articles I've been reading have been from the perspective of just Sprint or just Clwr, I'd like to see some analyst opinions that target the individuals who own both.

I know no one has all the answers so I have been doing as much research on my own as I can, but these are just some of the thoughts that have been running through my head....

Maybe this keeps getting restated, but I have just over 3,000 shares that I purchased in the $3 range. Does that mean I get to sell UP TO 1650 shares for $7.30? Will I have the option to sell more than 1650 shares?

Basically what I'm getting at is I still want to invest in "New Sprint" because I believe that there will be plenty of room for it to grow, but if it starts selling at $5.50 (or anything less than $7.30) wouldn't it make more sense to sell all my shares then reinvest instead of swapping a higher priced stock for a lower one?

I have never been apart of a merger before so I am not exactly sure what this means for the individuals who are invested.

So I bought just over 3,000 shares of Sprint for a little under $3 and could use a some advice. When the Softbank deal is complete, I will have the option to sell up to 55% of my shares for $7.30 (would it be possible to sell more than that?) and/or trade in my shares 1:1 for "New Sprint" at $5.50 a share. Does this mean that when "New Sprint" starts trading on the market anyone can start purchasing shares at $5.50? If so, wouldn't it make more sense to sell all my shares for $7.30 (and what I can't sell at that price, sell for what ever the market price is as long as it's over $5.50) and reinvest it into "New Sprint" for $5.50?
