  • Capstone Turbine: Be Wary Of The Records [View article]
FPP seems to me a very good repeat business for the company. IBM did quite well in the past doing it on their equipment. It may be a small percentage at this time, but it will become a high margin, cash producing part of the company as the CPST's installations grow. I sure want to be kept informed on any aspect of the business including the amount FPP revenue the company makes.

  • Ford Gets First 'Very Juicy' Rating: We Love The New F-150 And Initiate With A $28.50 Price Target [View article]
Peel your presentation is right on. The new F-150 is the best thing Ford has accomplished since the model T. Not only will it generate good earnings but it will catch many investors imagination as a company who might become the biggest and best auto company in the world. Certainly, earnings will follow with the growth of the company.

  • Capstone: Low Risk, High Reward [View article]
    Good presentation,
I agree with everything in your article. CPST has been good to me as an investor.
I am in for the third time. I expect volatility from this young company, especially with the growth they are experiencing. I expect the company to more than break even by the end of the year. This is the kind of company I want to hold in an old tired Bull market. CPST is not beholden to the very day type consumer. Their customers are big corporations who will buy their equipment in order to save money. The back log reflects their need for CPST's products.

  • ZBB Energy: Attractive Relative Valuation, Strong Demand Tailwind And Multiple Near-Term Catalysts [View article]
After the dust clears from the new issue of stock, a good entry point should be about $1.12 or a bit lower. They needed the cash in the worst way and now they have it.
long ZBB for the long term.

    Great presentation, Thanks
The thing that impresses me the most is what management has accomplished with their limited amount of capital. The partnerships in China gives ZBB a lot of muscle in a country that has great growth potential. It would not take much good news to explode the price of ZBB stock to new heights.
Long ZBB for the long term.

Good news. Adding to the back log sure helps the company reach break even. Not bad for a company that is priced like a long term option.

  • Thompson Creek: Interest Expense Likely To Decline With Refinancing [View article]
Are there any restrictions on buying the debt on the open market? it seems that would be a good way to buy the 12.5% debt even if they are bought at a premium.

  • Alexco Resource misses by $0.01 [View news story]
As and if the price of silver gets to $22 and the crusher starts up and the flame and moth deposit come on line, this stock will be worth more than it is today. Flame and Moth has the potential to be a world class deposit.
Long on Alexco for the longer term.

  • Update: Capstone Earnings [View article]
Looking at CPST as a short investment is the wrong way to evaluate this stock. I am looking at this stock as a very good investment for the long term. What can any one expect from a $1.17 dollar stock? If CPST just breaks even this is a good 100% gainer. also at this price the stock is set up for a take over. There is no question that they have a very good product and the charts show an year to year good growth of revenue. With all the pessimism on S/A this is a great time to increase holdings if one has a strong gut.
    Long for the long term.

  • Ford: Reaffirming My $20 Price Target Based On Today's Data [View article]
Ford's new top management is a very different beast compared to the past. I will not sale them short. If I was to bet on the out come for the Lincoln brand, I would say that it will be a blooming success. They have to appeal to the younger set who do not want what their dads bought. A some what sportier look would be nice.

  • Update: Thompson Creek Metals' Earnings [View article]
We are in a tired old bull market. I see signs where we may be in the early stages of a good correction. Sharp corrections one day with weak recovery the next. The government keeping the interest rate low to help the markets and to be able to afford paying our out of control debt. What better time to own a company with solid assets like TC and a management that was smart enough to buy and develop Milligan with cheap fiat money and convert them into currency of extremis GOLD.
Long and bullish and a stockholder in Thompson Creek.

  • Update: Capstone Earnings [View article]
    Crunch,
When I spoke of Micro turbines I was not thinking of present technology for autos.
It is future development of the next power train. Autos will have to go to series hybrids. full electric with a tiny micro turbine to charge the batteries. For city driving the turbine would mostly be shut-off only in extended, long trips would the turbine kick in. And yes the turbine would be lighter. certainly not the one for trucks. If CPST just announced that it was developing such technology the price of the stock would probably double. Us stockholders would instantly be rewarded.
Thanks for your Article. I enjoy reading your stuff.
