  • Investors Will Ultimately Understand How Ridiculous Ford Motor's Valuation Is [View article]
The real jewel for Ford is not the Mustang or the F-150. It is Ford Credit. With their expansion into China, using 1.5% borrowed dollars and lending at 6.5% We have growth of the proverbial money tree. If 50% of the autos are sold on credit in China to the younger generation just this year, how many dollars will be needed to lend at 6.5%? Will some one please figure it out for me?

  • Ford's Market Share In Russia Is Wiped Out [View article]
    Good article Vald,
Appreciate the truth even if it hurts. Why the U.S. is getting involved in a civil war that is of little interest to the defense of our country is beyond comprehension. Between Obama and Putin both countries are going to suffer beyond auto sales. Hope things change for the better in the near future. It's a good thing that the world is a big place and Ford seems to be doing well else where. I am an investor with a long term view and I think Ford is one of the best investments with very little down side risk at current prices.

  • Nokia Is Big In Japan [View article]
    Thanks Alcaraz,
Lots of good data. Your efforts are truly appreciated. Samsung will be a contributor to Nokia's bank roll for a long time. I like the way they are taking market share from Apple. It is disheartening to see the U.S. second to last on internet speed, but a great opportunity for Nokia.

  • 3 Reasons Nokia Investors Need To Think About Their Investment [View article]
    Mike, Thanks for the Article,
It generated some of the juiciest comments I have read on Nokia. Respectfully I disagree with most of your views. However I am out of NOK at this time just looking for a slight pull back to get back in. If you are short the stock I would cover since most of the comments are right on. Nokia is a stock ready to explode to the upside. I consider it a bargain at current prices.
    Lots of luck

  • Update: Hecla Mining Completes Successful Drilling At San Sebastian - Bull Thesis Strengthened [View article]
    Great presentation,
Hecla is one of the best holdings I can think of in the type of market we are in. The psychology of the market is such that a major correction will be upon us very shortly. A classic sale off. after that happens, The precious medal prices will in increase as some of us will seek safe heavens. I for one am already doing it. May be a little early, but it is better than been late.
    Good luck to all.

  • Ford - Buy The Dip As Morgan Stanley Turns Cautious [View article]
I do not trust any thing that Morgan Stanley hacks put out. Their agenda could very well be to put out a down grade on a stock they want to buy so they can get a cheap price on the huge amount of shares they need to buy for their clients. Their down grade is very illogical and ill timed. I can not help but wonder what their motives may be.

  • Why Ford's September Weakness Should Not Worry Investors [View article]
The MS down grade maybe the main reason for the sell off of Ford stock because the psychology of the market is that of extreme caution. We are in the 6th year of a rising market and the fundamentals are not that great. The market is being supported by the low interest rates that the Fed deems necessary to prop the markets . Ford is not the only stock being sold off. However looking at the longer term Ford's fundamentals are very good and certainly worth holding through rough times.
I remain a Stock holder for the longer term

  • Vantage Drilling Company Is Not As Valuable As It Seems [View article]
Your points are very valid. However VGT's stock is selling at option prices. I think the risks are well worth taking that management will prevail. The risk which I think is that the world economies will collapse because of currency mismanaging and the need for petrol will diminish.

Why will financing Cobalt be a problem? $59.5 has already been paid. Cash flow is good enough to carry the additional debt. The risk to the banks would be minimal. Getting a contract for the rig should be a snap because it is the best rig available for at least the next two years. It is just a matter of getting the best possible bid. If it gets to the point of selling a rig it would make better sense to sell one of the older jackup rigs. Cobalt is just too good a potential money maker to get rid of. If the Cobalt is contracted at the same rate as its sister ships it would only take roughly 2.5 years to pay it off. Managements track record is excellent and they will find an answer to the financing of Cobalt.

The current price of VTG already reflects the law suit. The debt can easily be refinanced at lower rates of interest since the risks have greatly diminished with the cash flow that exists at this time. The risk is the law suit. However VGT is in a strong position to prevail. No question there is some risks, but the rewards of buying before the suit is settled is enormous. I for one am willing to speculate that VTG will win. No risks on the market usually leads to no gains.

  • Q&A: Kinross Gold Corp. Trouble? Or Could It Double? [View article]
I was invested in KGC until sanctions were imposed on Russia .I just did not think it wise to stay invested with the future seeming so uncertain. There are too many under valued gold stocks with out the uncertainty that KGC is burden with. I am still keeping an eye on KGC hoping that the Ukrainian issues are resolved.

  • U.S. Geothermal Inc. - The Company Is Still Fairly Valued [View article]
HTM can do quite well with out direct government subsidies. Wind power equipment is very expensive compared to geothermal, very dependent on the wind. Years ago in California they closed down a solar project at Barstow Calif. It just was not working out. Solar panels do not justify the cost without subsidies from the government. You could cover the entire world with panels and still not meet the energy we need. The truth is we need all the available sources of electrical energy to satisfy our needs. Whereas their is some risk in most ventures, the risk reward ratio is very favorable for the investors in HTM. A little patience may be required.
    A long termer

  • Update: Ford's Second Vehicle In Command [View article]
First off; Ford has been beating estimates lately. very conservative duds. secondly, some of this estimates are based on numbers compiled by turnips that are not any brighter then most of us. Just wild ass guesses. The F-150 is a far gone conclusion that it will be a blooming success. 15,000 potential customers submitted their name to just test the truck. The F-150 will be a money making tree. The new Mustang will just be trimmings on the tree. My wild ass conservative estimate is $2.80 @ a PE of 12 for $33.60 by the end of 2016.
Respectfully, a long and short termer.

  • Capstone Turbine: A Strong Order Book And R&D Moves Make It A Smart Investment [View article]
Waiting for earning to develop? That is great news for me because I am willing to take the risks which I feel are small so that I can sell to those that are less adverse to risk at a later date.
Long for the short and long term.
