  • 2 Peculiar Questions For Ford Longs About June's U.S. Auto Numbers [View article]
No, since the market is like trading horses. For every seller there is always a buyer. If the horse is health and young the buyer will always make a profit with a little patience. Consider Ford as a healthy strong horse with a promising future. I for one am a buyer. sooner rather than later I can sell it at a profit.

  • Ford: Why The European Comeback Will Continue [View article]
If you have to discount heavily, you are admitting that you have an inferior product compared to the completion. VW did not amass their huge bank roll by discounting; they just produced great products in the past. Ford is in a very enviable position of being a leader in the switch to aluminum and it is paying off big time with the F-150. It will continue with other products as they come to market. Ford will never have to discount heavily because they are producing the superior produce.

I continue adding to my position. Needless to say at a loss. If it goes much lower I will have to start praying that the lord intervenes or take my losses and weep a lot.

  • BreitBurn Energy Partners: Has Stability Finally Come? [View article]
Lets look at the big picture. The Saudis are depleting their resources at bargain prices. Needless to say their earning are probably down by at least 50%. The other big players producing the new oil are the fellows drilling the Shale fields. This wells start producing at good rates but very quickly start petering to a slow dribble.
Therefore they have to keep drilling new wells to keep production up. It has been about a year since they started slowing their operations. The use of petrol is on the up swing. Gas guzzlers are selling like crazy because fuel is currently cheap. Auto fleets in China and India are growing every year. Most are not EVs.
Therefore oil is probably as cheap as it is going to get give or take a few bucks.
$70 to $80 will probably be a realistic price going forward. This been the case, I say BBEP is way oversold long term. 7/2/15; Charts: bottom $4.44 closed at $4.53. my charts indicated a ST buy signal. LT the stock is way oversold.
Long term BBEP is probably a 100%er. The dividend is mouth watering juicy.
I am a long termer and thinking of adding to my position.

What we should not forget is that F-150 is just the start of aluminum vehicles. I would think that this is just the start. What will be the next one and the others that will follow. Gas prices will not stay low forever and the CAFE standards are not going away. Congratulations to the innovative engineering group. A truly marvelous collection of Ford people.

Angry Stockholders? What do you expect miracles? This was not a bad monthly report. Mustang sales were decent. 55,171 F series sold is not chicken feed. SUV's are doing well. I am looking for Ford to beat expectations next quarter.

@profit of $10000 per truck I figure about 5.2 billion dollars. And it will probably be better next month. Overall a pretty good month. If they keep it up they might even beat earning expectations for the up coming quarter

  • Ford Vs. GM: From A Dividend, Free Cash Flow (And Valuation) Perspective [View article]
All things being even by the numbers, I prefer Ford because they have changed to the use of aluminum. The F-150's amazing success can not be ignored. CAFE standards will force all auto makers to follow Ford's lead. Therefore it puts Ford in the enviable position of being the leader. This should lead to a very profitable future for at least the next three years. This are all assumptions that the sky will not fall of Ford's ass.
