  • The Verge joins Digitimes in reporting a Nokia (NOK) Windows RT tablet is in the works. The gadget site, which seems to have a source or two at Microsoft (MSFT), reports the tablet will have a 10.1" display (similar to Surface), mobile connectivity (AT&T will sell it), and interestingly, a battery-equipped keyboard cover that "envelops it like a book." Nokia is said to plan a small initial run, and to be thinking of making a Windows 8 Pro device later. [View news story]
    Another positive report. Lets just say Nokia is in it to win it.
    As the 920 gains acceptance In China it will form brand loyalty which will create a ready market if and when Nokia decides to widen distribution of a tablet

  • Nokia (NOK) reaches a CNY2B ($320M) reseller deal with leading Chinese online retailer 360buy. The agreement will make 360buy Nokia's top Chinese e-commerce partner, and will include the creation of a Nokia store on its site. It arrives shortly after China Mobile began selling the Lumia 920T. Nokia's Shanghai store sold out in 2 hours, though it isn't known how many units were stocked. [View news story]

  • Nokia (NOK) +5.1% premarket, adding to yesterday's gains (I, II). CNET has published an interview with CEO Stephen Elop in which he says Nokia is "planning a lot of exciting things with Verizon." Verizon (VZ) currently offers the mid-range Lumia 822, but the flagship Lumia 920 is for now an AT&T exclusive in the U.S. [View news story]
