IBM Challenges Microsoft with an OpenOffice Symphony

I use OpenOffice as my primary business productivity suite. It is an excellent product. I can read MS Office docs, and I can save OpenOffice docs as MS Office docs. After 9 mos on the product, I find it vastly superior to the MS product. Perhaps OpenOff poses no threat to MS, but I don't know too many people who would willingly fork over $500 for a product that does nothing that the free product doesn't do.
