In&out, The result of a 14% yield is the stock dropped from $6 to $4, not that the preferred helping. If the stock stays at $6, then yield is only 10%. So Either the yield drop or the stock price drop. It is a drop. The lost of $2 of principle - Ouch!!! The preferred only helped THEM increase fees.

Thank you for the enlightenment. You offered a very good answer. And if they price the right base on the $10.3 NAV instead of the $7.9 stock price as of now, then, part of my NAV discount is gone.

Anyone can advise how the rights offering works?
Now PSEC is $8. At the time they spinned off PYLD and give me the right to buy at $1, will PSEC worth $8 or $7? If it is $8, then, there is no change to the value of my share. (I may not spend $1 to buy the right.) If it is $7, then I lost $1. And I do not want to lose $1.

HYD, Thank you for helping. I need more instructions please. If 1%+20%=21%, then, wow, that makes it much better than PFLT 's 31.6%. Is my understanding correct?

Buzz, Scott said FSFR management fee is less tnan FSC. Would be nice if you add FSFR into the operating cost table. I imagine it is not much less given how greed is FSC mgmt.

There were little buyers for FSC yesterday. Plenty of people people wanted to get out. Had not been LEonard T. sit a huge buy order at 6.8 all day. The stock price would have been fallen to a much lower level.
