wasn't it a few years ago that tysons Butter ball turkey plant got a grant for turkey offal to biodiesel. The process of vaporizing oils to gas doesn't seem so far fetched. Most methanol( a biodiesel ingredient and a great energy fuel)currently produced is from the process of steam reformation of natural gas. Most of this technology already exists under the confusion of definitions. I'm just curious has biodiesel always been diesel. "Tyson fat will be run through Conoco refineries and turned into renewable diesel". Is renewable diesel a better term than Bio-diesel? Chemically speaking it seems more accurate.
