Retired. We view our railroad retirement and pension as the fixed income parts of our portfolio. We try to avoid debt and we downsized prior to retirement, so the railroad retirement and pension cover our normal expenses. That allows us to buy mostly dividend growth stocks for our accounts. We look for dividend growth stocks with good credit ratings and sustainable business positions or moats. At this point we reinvest the dividends in the stocks that we consider to be core stocks. We are grateful to the Seeking Alpha community for their willingness to share so much information and resources that have helped us learn more about the dividend growth strategy.
