  • Generex: Raising Cash, But No Oral-lyn Update [View article]
Supposedly there is a huge "Plan B" to be announced sometime in the future and they will have a conference call when "they are ready" not just because shareholders want one. These are all things you can learn at digitaltradz.com. I would like to know why Mark Fletcher, the interim CEO, has been completely silenced.

We are all waiting for the miraculous Plan B that is supposed to save Generex (GNBT). Oral-lyn is definitely what I would want as an alternative to insulin injections instead of Afrezza. Many of us diabetics have pulmonary issues and do not want to inhale medications. Oral-lyn would be better for us. Its too bad that Generex does not just wrap up their phase III data and get it over with. Instead they want a reverse split which has been voted down by their shareholders more than once.

  • Why I Am Voting for Generex's Reverse Stock Split [View article]
I voted no at first and then changed to yes, it is the only feasible thing to do right now, however, I put my money where my mouth is now I expect each board member and each member of the executive staff to do the same thing and purchase shares with their own money. If they really believe in the company and pipeline, this is how they can prove it to us. If they do not believe in the company enough to buy their own shares, then they need to resign. Simple as that.

A reverse split will kill the shareholders. As soon as it goes through, the stock will be shorted like crazy but this company has never done anything with the shareholders in mind, why start now?

It is not wise for a company threatened with delisting and a reverse split to be spending money at this time. The timining is inappropriate and detrimental to shareholders. It will cause further dilution and there are no guarantees that the customers of GMD will purchase the products of Generex.

  • Generex: Do Development Drug Companies Have No Value? [View article]
GNBT was incorporated in Delaware so it is an American Company.
Oral-lyn is the drug that needs FDA approval, not just the delivery system. The FDA is not going to just approve a delivery system alone. Someday, even Viagra may be in a rapidmist cannister but the FDA will not approve the rapidmist container, it will approve Viagra Mist or whatever it is called at the time.
So, you see, the drug within the rapidmist cannister will be called something and that something is what the FDA will approve. I think your article is a bit misleading and the reader may conclude that you feel the FDA will not need to approve Oral-lyn just the delivery system and I do not think that is accurate.

Thomas, are you saying that perhaps you know something that GNBT investors do not know, that GNBT will not need FDA approval to market Oral-lyn in the United States. If that is so, then that is big news. Please verify.

Again, Oral-lyn DOES require FDA approval. What the heck are you talking about?

Well, I guess you were wrong, here it is the end of the week and we are lower. The Reverse Split is still needed if GNBT is to stay listed on the NASDAQ.

The only problem with Oral-lyn is that each cannister only contains the equivalent of 40 units of fast acting insulin similar to Novolog.
With many diabetics who give insulin based on mealtime carb intake, a cannister could be used up in one day. Its a very wonderful concept but could be cost probhibitive. For me, it would be more of a convenience item to use now and then when I am travelling, at work, or out and about especially since it does not need refrigeration. If they could conentrate the cannisters to include maybe 80 to 100 units in each cannister then it would be more economically feasible and I would think this would be a possibility. Look at calculators when they first came out, they were huge and costly, now they are cheap and small. There definitely is potential with Oral-lyn. Plus to be on Oral-lyn you almost have to be on a basal insulin such as Levemir or Lantus. So you won't be totally free on injections.
