  • Don't Bank On It [View article]
Hey IT, on an anecdotal note, the video game business is doing well and there is no noticeable slowdown in any product category adjusted for usual seasonal circumstances here in Augusta, Georgia.

I think the economy is really doing a lot better than any numbers. I think the FED is truly keeping the economy down, on paper, to continue QE and that they will not let interest rates rise in face of any inflation, which has slowed from my observations the past 2 years.

I think also that the longer this persists, more entrepreneurs will circumvent the waterways of this confusing situation of a $4 trillion balance sheet, namely alternative finance methods and self finance. They will also continue to use the 2.8%ish long term YOY inflation rate you propose I think in calculating their interest rate for many small and private loans.

I am not worried at all about a loan. The banks are so messed up, their is so much stress and hassle and it is truly organic and proportional to cash flow if you can organically grow yourself through direct operations. Of course, this is possible for me by EBay and Amazon in the beginning.

I have read most of your recent articles today IT, I am constantly impressed by your professionalism and am still your #1 fan! Its really nerdy, since I am no longer even in college and my girlfriend thinks it weird I talk so highly of some guy I do not know (I showed her your bio, she does not understand that stuff), but man, your the shit.

  • 4 Stocks To Double In 2014 [View article]
Walgreens will slap 2 stores next to any other competitors and put them babies to sleep. Then close up shop and build a mega store to chip into Wal Mart and other mid-tier guys.

RAD will have to distinguish itself further just to survive, but it is not the shop of choice for old, young or any people I know. They will have to seriously change and reflect on how to combat the fierce competition tactics mentioned earlier.

I would much rather see a Walgreens close to my retail locations. They have a serious grip here in Georgia and pull a lot of money from a consistent customer base, who will see your business every time they pick up their "Walgreens" prescriptions.

Rite Aid is the Wendy's of the Pharmacies/Retailers box guys.

  • Who Owns The Federal Reserve? [View article]
"it’s better to think of the Fed as a public/private hybrid and not really being “owned” by anyone."

That was kind of funny, Collen you got to be the most naive contributor on here.

The Feds history did not start with some NYC clearinghouse, it was based on the Bank of England. The intent was wholeheartedly and 100% to gain control of the monetary supply, not your grand reason of acting as a "Clearinghouse".

The people who own the Fed are those who benefit the most off of it, Qui Bono, as they said in Rome. The Fed causes inflation, the biggest debtor in the world is Sovereigns, so the government owns the FED and the investing class support it because they can hedge themselves from inflation.

This is not new, people are waking up everyday and seeing it for what it is and the altered history being pushed in articles like this are
done, nobody buys this crap in real life. The Fed is 100% about enslaving us, not anything else.

The Fed was planned by industrialists and bankers in the NorthEast on Jekyll Island.

There is plenty of history, "the creature from Jekyll Island", "Other Peoples Money", "Billions for bankers", "The Federal Mafia", "End the Fed", "Meet the world money power" and much more. But go ahead and think it is some clearinghouse model, never intended for monetary policy.

You must think the Social Security program was made for helping Americans retire and that Obamacare is about getting people health insurance as efficiently as possible.

I really like how you use the Feds own website and info as a source.

There is trillions on the line here and you think a ruling class is going to let the Fed ownership pass by? Hilarious.

  • Obama signs debt-budget deal into law [View news story]
Machiavellis dad was not Jarel, he was a lawyer in Florence.

Machiavelli was in a family that had lost their wealth, but had a little brand. He worked for a civil position with his dads help and later became a diplomat.

He was truly the #1 guy on politics, it is frightening to read "The Prince" or "The Discourses of Livy" and see the modern parallels.

"The monies to plug the deficit have to (be stolen) come from somewhere..."

Is that how you guys do it in France? Seriously, I want to know why you think this is right on any level. It is theft and you condone it?

"Dogged Republicans obsessed with stopping healthcare reform continue to dominate the conversation."

Thanks Republicans for at least holding off another theft (tax).

I am not naive enough to think their efforts genuine though, there is to much money in this new government piggy bank to keep "obsessed".

I imagine all the politicians sleep nice on their Egyptian cotton laced pillow cases. Hard day tomorrow pretending to debate.

I concur 100%. Especially after witnessing the horrid falling apart of Big Ben last Sunday.

Nonetheless, Pittsburgh looks absolutely beautiful from Google maps. There downtown is very clean and urban looking. I like how they renovated a lot of buildings with steel.

This is the equivalent of calling the government when your car is stolen, then they recover the car and keep it.

But it is good enough for the press and seems right so it will sail.

So JPM has ripped off untold amounts from everyday citizens, yet they have to pay the government?

This is just a government shakedown for some money, not actually acting sheriff, as that cost a lot and does not bring in more than 99.9% of other businesses in their lifetime.

Then there is the issue for new members in JPM and now they have less to work with and for, and they did nothing.

JP Morgan is a piece of paper, this fine is payed for by the same people that got screwed in the beginning.

  • Obama to seek Congressional approval on Syria strikes: Clarity or more uncertainty? [View news story]
Dear Christ, you guys think all of these organizations and such are going to tell us what happened in Syria?

Lets investigate ourselves! That sounds like a true criminal investigation! I guess you people think that the police genuinely investigate themselves and that the finance companies self regulate their markets for the goodwill of the general economy.

Government organizations, on any level, are supportive of war and government spending. The "I pat your back, you do mine" mentality exists between government organizations. Everyone wants us to go to war. The Chinese, Russians and Iranians, it will drain is further and they can profit off of it. The War complex wants is to rush in, they will make a good deal and have huge influences in government positions and lobbyists and not to mention Wall Street and the Hedge Funds!

    Just use your freaking head!

We did it, we planned it all for TV and we are fighting another war in the Middle East over nothing more than a staged act!

If we did not do it, which I seriously doubt after the families of 9/11 victims documentaries and other evidence that we have planned these things before (Iran, Nicaragua, Cuba, Iraq, Afghanistan to name a few), then we should kick do what we do for every other of the millions of tragedies that occur yearly that you guys seem ignorant of because it is not on CNN, NOTHING.

    "Read some history..."

This statement has got to be so generic and useless.

It is indicative of the shallow style of arguments that enable things like a war in Syria to happen.

Please stop using these, they do not further the debate at all.
