    • Is Oil Bubbling Over? [view article]
      What's wrong with opening up the oil shale in Colorado and the other two states for drilling and let Shell have at it. There is about a trillion barrowls of oil we wouldn't have to import from the Saudi government. Why did the Bush admin shut it down this time? I know it wouldn't go on line instantly, but, at least Shell knows how to get that oil out of the rock. Let them get started, and it would shure help the US with its oil needs. May 09 08:59 AM

      Good for XOM! If more of the majors acted like Exxon in their dealings with these oil rich countries who bring them in to develop their assets, using the firms vast tecnology and cash and then try to change the terms and screw them out of assets, maybe this mess wouldn't exist. If Exxon doesn't get ful price for it's assets, Bush should nationalize Citgo and see how Hugo likes that.

      Is anyone making comments about Sino Gold Ltd, the Australian company with the largest gold mine in Asia, operating in China, with the blessing of the government. I can't find anything mentioned about this operation even though they have a hugh find. Feb 19 04:08 PM
