  • Analyzing Atna And Veris Gold Tolling Agreement [View article]
As you notice, the wet mill (oxide Au ore) is being brought on stream, this will give VG, an extra 3000 to 4000 t/d more capacity. Klondex is oxide Au ore......not refractory (sulfide Au ore) which they (VG) have been processing

Mariusz.....I totally agree with you, In that area of Nevada there are many mines that have stockpiles of sulfide refractory Au ore which they cannot process. This type of Au ore to the mining companies is commonly called "orphan ore" they mine it, but they cannot process it. Up to VG/YNG getting their Jerritt Canyon mill back into full production, The miners who had this refractory had to deal with Newmont and Barrick. Now they have a third option Verias Gold at Jerritt Canyon.

With the new polution standards in affect in Nevada, I doubt if there will ever be another mill constructed to handle this type of (sulfide) Au ore.

It now comes down to three mills that can handle this (sulfide) Au ore. I really thiunk they can demand top price for toll milling ....if it doesn't get milled it's just stockpiled ....and the mining cost just keep adding up.
