  • IBM: Calling The Bottom [View article]
I love IBM at today´s price level...
As a Swing-trader, today IBM made some nice tech action like breaking up downside MM50 sessions on daily graphs, it could be that late weakness for that venerable company is over.
Thanks for your article, very informative..

  • 2 Stocks To Buy, 1 Stock To Avoid, What's Next For The Market [View article]
    Good Morning:
As a value investor, I would buy TEVA on the cheap, before good news hit the market, every body is looking at Teva sales in USA, but this company is selling its therapeutic products globally, In last earnings call we saw nice numbers regarding Teva´s sales in Western Europe, so in my humble opinion worst of this company is in the rear mirrow and bad news could be priced in the market price of TEVA.
I´m long in TEVA and i recommend to my readers starting positions at today market price level for patient investors.
    Best wishes from Spain.

  • Exit Of The Periphery From The Eurozone Is Inevitable [View article]
    Hi Sailesh:
    What´s a two tier architecture??.
European Monetary Union is based on a solely currency, the €..
Of course, European Countries with bigger fiscal deficits will adjust their budgets to reduce that deficits, but i don´t see an exit of Southern countries from Eurozone.
Last data from Spain is telling us that internal devaluation, via lowering earnings in payrolls of workforce is working very well. Spanish exports are increasing Vs. imports, so comercial balance is positive from six months ago. Of course economy is still stangnant, but is somewhat flat, not drecreasing like a year ago.
Hard work is done, just more time will be needed to get some positive in financial and economic dynamics. Spanish markets are printing right now next upward trend. You´ll see some rebound in Spanish economy in the next six months...
    Have a nice day.

  • Exit Of The Periphery From The Eurozone Is Inevitable [View article]
Why do you think i use sarcasm in my reply??
The title of your article is like a Sci-fiction movie title...
Greece with far worst debt problems is still in European Union.
I can´t see Spain or Italy out of European monetary union,.. sorry.
Too big to fail.. In my humble opinion ECB will make all it´s needed to maintain open debt markets in European Southern countries ECB has the tools to do it like the FED.... printing fresh money.. buying back debt bonds of distressed countries, lowering collateral rules to fund European banks etc..
Perhaps you don´t know very well European political & socio-economic dynamics.
I´m sorry.. if you feel that i don´t make constructive inputs in your article, just writing my own personal opinion in this free forum

I don´t think Greece or Ireland are going anywhere. I´m confident that €zone won´t break. Look for FMI Spanish banking rescue or BCE new LITROS. Hard work it´s almost done...You´re watching a real bottom in Europe fears. Even Goldman Sachs is looking for value on European financial companies

  • Jury Nails J&J With $482 Million Patent Infringement Verdict: Biotech's Latest Tribulations [View article]
    Hi All:
Opportunity to buy JNJ below $60 is gone.
Technically speaking, last Morning Star pattern over long term dynamic support worked very well, so mini sell-off was done.
With Dow over 12.000 points I see some rally ahead, and perhaps a short squeeze is coming.

  • Avoid Eurozone Investing Until the Defaults Begin [View article]
    Hi Filipo:
You´ve got a better rationale in this post...
There isn´t any country investing B. in Charity.Today.
I agree with you about equilibrium on imbalances.
I remember you that China is a great exporter to Spain, our commercial balance with China is very favorable to Chinese imported gods. With the visit to Spain of an important Chinese official this week we´re going to sign some beautiful deals in financials, with a joint venture of Santander (STD) with Chinese agricultural bank, and some deals on energy.
    I mean deals, not Charity...
    Have a great day guy...

  • Avoid Eurozone Investing Until the Defaults Begin [View article]
    Hi Filipo:
It seems to me you´re heavy short on Spanish equities or financials..
You talk about Chinese Charity on Spanish debt... Am I wrong if i post "smart Chinese loaded tons of Usa debt"???
I don´t think Chinese are doing Charity buying Usa treasuries.
    They´re doing business.
China has to diversify it´s global debt into some €, just a smart move.
Ah!!! Spain´s just 65% debt to GDP ratio, not so the moment...
I think, it looks smart, giving some help, buying some € debt with a nice interest rate, like Chinese people are doing right now, than bashing Spanish financials in a bottom trend.
    Bye, bye...

  • Avoid Eurozone Investing Until the Defaults Begin [View article]
    Hi Marsconi:
Well, i haven´t data of total European debt, but The Spanish Treasury intends to issue €192,000 million of new debt in 2011, includes the draft State Budget. This figure is 14.4% lower than the estimated emissions for 2010, € 224,300 million .
Therefore, the increase in debt next year (so-called net financing requirements) will amount to 43,300 million, or 43.15% less than that of 2010, estimated at 76.177 million. This increase will raise the ratio of public debt to GDP to 68.7% from 62.8% estimated for 2010.
