  • Tesla's Model S: Engineering Dream, Fiscal Nightmare [View article]
Everything about Tesla is facinating...Every new enterprise especially with revolutioany technology has risk. It is very refreshing to see so many of you supporting Elon Musk and accepting the risks taking...What worries me the most is the conflict of interest with the oil industry and the Establishment... Elon needs lot of prayers for his protection ...and his safety. I don't worry about Tesla succeding, but more about sabotages and dirty tricks from industries and people having a lot to loose from its success.

  • Jefferies defends Tesla Motors (TSLA -3.2%) with a note which points out that most Tesla Model S owners seem more impressed with the car than the New York Times reporter who muddled through the charging process on an extended trip. The firm boosts its price target on TSLA to $45 a share on its view the EV automaker will report that it's on track to meet stated FY13 productions goals. [View news story]
Good point TikiManProd... There is so many negative people around. America should be proud of its own company, TESLA.Tesla is Innovative, visionary and saving its own money by building up on enthusiasm rather than costly advertising...My main concern is a conflict of interest with the oil industry...Everything may be tried to destroy the EV reality and its growth out of its infancy. It is also interesting to notice that Tesla Model S owner are not all wealthy but many are willing to put their money in what they believe to be a solution to pollution and clean, efficient energy. They are willing to sacrifice to promote the vehicle of the future and help a visionary company to establish themselves as the leader in this industry. We all want to partner with them. That is why we are willing to spend money that we will never dare to spend on any conventional car, as fancy , fast or sexy as they may be....

  • The NYT's John Broder takes Tesla's (TSLA) Model S up and down the East Coast from Washington on Interstate 95, where the company has installed Supercharger stations 200 miles apart. Things start dandily enough, but then the weather cools, and Broder has to endure freezing feet and white knuckles because he has to turn the heating off to preserve power. Eventually, he needs a tow truck to pick him up because the car runs out of juice[View news story]
They are not wasting any of my money. Tesla got a loan from the Gvt. but they pay it back. The banks are wasting our money by not paying back the stimulus money and by the FED creating money out of thin air.... Tesla should be praised for being innovative, being a US company with vision and the gut to realize their dream..May be they will need charging station every 150 miles rather than two hundred to take care of warming their car in cold winter, therefore it was not a good idea to take off on a trip on such a cold winter day. The fault is on the driver, not Tesla. We are at the beginning of a new electric era and we need to wait a few years before the new infra sructure of charger is up to the need of every day driving in any weather condition. Have common sense, but don't blame it on Tesla....WILL YOU!

  • Tesla Motors (TSLA +0.5%) makes an appearance on a brand perception poll conducted by Consumer Reports, checking in at number ten on the list. It's a good sign for the automaker that even though the company is a bit of a political hot potato - on issues of quality, safety, performance, and design it's registering solid marks with consumers. [View news story]
For once, we have an all American company with a very innovative product, full of sex appeals and no shortage in giving back. Capitalizing on people excitement to auto finance their production. This is true capitalism at his best. My wife drove a Model S in San Jose in October and is all sold on Tesla. Ingenuisity is what Tesla is on all aspect....We should be proud of being American, AGAIN...especially in those difficult times, Tesla is a breath of fresh air, so needed in this age of hot air that nobody can capitalize on... Go Tesla...GO!

  • Tesla Has All The Parts To Power Higher [View article]
Climate warming is real, the result of periodic super activity of the sun.
Yet when it is wise and to be encouraged, to be a good Stewart and work to reduce pollution of any kind, Global warming is not so much caused by men made causes but rather by volcanic and sun increased activities. The future and the health of our children depend on clean and renewable energy and Tesla is to be praised for such achievement.
