  • Why First Solar Is Undervalued [View article]
    I am long Solar3D, SLTD.

I wouldn't recommend putting money into it that you couldn't afford to lose completely cause it's a penny stock, currently trading around .03 cents. But who knows what percentage it could go up? Also the solar installation company they are acquiring has almost $1 million in annual profits. The stocks been moving up steadily after finding support at .01 cent in April.
I did take significant profits well above 4 cents recently around when it announced the acquisition, but still hold most of my shares.

  • Who Is The Biggest Customer Of Voxeljet's 3D Printers? Itself [View article]
That $65 million they just raised with their IPO means a lot of new expansion and growth is about to happen for VJET it seems to me.

  • Voxeljet - Printing Red Flags In All Dimensions [View article]
I guess that explains why you are saying the market cap is over $1 billion when it is actually $560 million.

  • U.S. solar stocks rally strongly ahead of a Tuesday speech from Pres. Obama in which he's expected to outline plans to effectively double the amount of renewable energy created on public lands by 2020 (enough to power 6M homes), and to impose regulations of carbon dioxide output from U.S. power plans. First Solar (FSLR +7.6%), which received an upgrade and a bullish coverage launch yesterday, is the biggest winner, but SunEdison (SUNE +5.6%) and SunPower (SPWR +4.2%) are also doing well. [View news story]
Since the future of humanity depends on our hugely reducing our use of fossil fuels and leaving most of the already discover fossil fuel reserves in the ground, I'd say Obama's showing strong positive leadership. Or don't you believe in science?

  • Solar Stocks: Take Your Money And Run Or Short Them [View article]
Your comment "This is in light of huge new discoveries of natural gas and oil." shows a lack of knowledge. We can never burn the majority of the fossil fuels already discovered without destroying the planet through massive catastrophic climate change.

  • A prescient seller of solar years ago, Gordon Johnson is more bearish now than he's ever been - even with most of the stocks trading at fractions of their old values. China alone has far more panel production capacity than the world needs, and it's still adding more thanks to the government propping up these cash-flow burners. U.S. government policy is equally perverse. Top sells: FSLR, YGE, TSL, STP, ASYS[View news story]
Concern for the future of humanity and our planet is not "political". We are all threatened with catastrophic climate change if we don't make major changes whether we are democrat or republican doesn't make any difference.
