  • Apple May Steamroll Android By 2015 [View article]
Mr. Cho: Your equation turns out to be ; Market Share= -4.475.Y-11.775/Y+41.365. Here the Market Share is just a function of time and the positive value is 41.365 So, I do not know how you have fixed up the value of Y but this 41.365 is offering some positive value because all other values of Y is negating this 41.365. So, your formula is waiting for Android to vanish. One can furnish any amount of Regression Formula like your showing R(squared ) equal to one.

  • Ford - Still A Believer, Europe Is Turning... A Mullaly Discount ? [View article]
I have been pondering about the direction in which F stock is moving. It is not all the fine points raised by all of Boston Brahmins of investing but it is the concerted effort by the fund managers who want to keep a parity of F with GM. But those guys know it better because from the beginning it was only F that did not want any fed help. It is independent and it has held its high. Very soon F will move higher.

  • Qualcomm May Follow Apple South As iPhone Volumes Decline In 2014 And Beyond [View article]
The comments are very thoughtful and show their authors are serous about investing and the philosophy. May be by this time Mr. M. Blair should discard his outer layer of body and show his real self, I mean it has a been long time since his assumed identity of many famous short sellers ( I think Einhorn, Trainor , Kass , Gundlach and Eassa who went as for as to say Apple is not out of the woods yet) and show what he thinks of Apple's business models and that why it has so many companies who will copy every products that Apple can come up with and the consumers like this products. I remember the analysts remark about the dimension of iPad and etc. I think it is high time for Mr. M. Blair to show us what he is really.

  • Cirrus Logic: This Correction Doesn't Offer A Buying Opportunity [View article]
Since Cirrus knows its competition it can improve on its qualities and its price. May be it can lower its price so that it can come out as a winner. May be it can adopt Amazon's strategy to lower its price so it can come out as the winner in dollar.

  • Bank Of America Is Breaking Out [View article]
I know you are CFA and I am "what do I know". But here is my two cents. The value of a security is made up of capital appreciation and dividend. When the enterprise makes some money the market knows about capital appreciation and the price goes up and the dividend declaration needs Board of Directors' approval because it involves long term direction. The dividend part is uncertain, as you have many securities going up ( like AMZN, GOOG, CRM, FB, etc.) solely because the investors think they will get their moneys worth ( look what has happened to AMZN, FB, etc. ). There are many a slips between the cup and the lips. I do not know how the Fed is involved in BAC's dividend program or the impending judges resolution about the Article 77 suit. But the market knows about ( this is called the invisible hand of market) about it and BAC's dividend could stay where it is and stock would move the moment the judge's decision is known.

  • Why Ford Has Material Valuation Upside Potential: A Look At The Numbers [View article]
This is a yahoo of information article. So many information that I am storing for reference. My first reaction are the Risk Free rates and future growth and inclusion of Harley- Davis.. in the different tables of data. I do understand that Toyato and Honda have motor cycle business so to compare apple with apple you have to take out motor cycle business but that does not mean you have to include Harley in this article. Anyhow that is how I feel. It is a wonderful article and store for future reference.

  • Is Apple's iPhone Losing The Smartphone War? [View article]
I can see that NYC Trader got motivated looking at the article to rebut Mr. Eassa's position on Apple. But, besides that the author should look at the position of Mr. Gundlach, Kass and the other guy who went to Apple for the preferred stock thing and the whole market that is just selling ( may be the shorters ) and not appreciates the investment value of Apple. May be the authors should aim their article to the whole market, have you just looked at the volume in Apple just going down. Today the news came out that Apple has won the court battle with Samsung but there is no reaction. May be I am just repeating what the market is doing to Apple for about a year, the moment somebody came up with a value of $1000 per share value the share just started to slide down and went up GOOGLE, and AMZN , etc. Just watch what the market is telling to Apple , we do not love from the beginning including Mr. Jobs treatment, the market always has a grudge against Apple, whether it is the Consumers report not recommending iPhone due to the antenna position, etc. NYC Trader should point their article to the whole market.

  • Bank Of America: Fully Valued At $15 Per Share [View article]
I would wait till the current Article 77 comes to an end. It is only AIG's position that $8.5 b is only a penny to a dollar loss but the thing is that AIG is not responsible for all these $100 b in assets. May be the case will be resolved by holders instead of the class action suit basis. But, any how I would for the case with AIG being resolved.
