  • Intel: This May Take A While ... [View article]
<<their tick-tock product development strategy will allow them to put increasing amount of pressure on the mobile market share currently held by ARM based processors>>

Intel can't wait one year in the tick-tock process any more. That alone will put them in the Smithsonian for good. Tech innovates faster than that now. Intel needs to rethink how they relate to consumers (or at least their strategies in do so). It's not just a question of cache or glitz, it's knowing which door consumers will be knocking on BEFORE THEY START KNOCKING ON IT AND being ready to answer that door when consumers do start knocking on it.

  • 10 Income Stocks That Are Now Bargains [View article]
Picked up more LRE under $17 with recent distributions on the latest phantom fear scare/drop . I was able to increase my position by almost 20%. Nice to see it finish at $18.41 today up big, albeit on even lower volume than normal. Lol...yield still over 10% at the moment too.

Now it would be nice to see some insider buying and good (new) news about the co.

Next up: Increasing my position in RNF while it's still a bargain.

  • Fiscal Cliff: The Can-Kick Scenario [View article]
    It was Georgia :)

    From Wikipedia:

<<The Dukes of Hazzard follows the adventures of "The Duke Boys", cousins Bo and Luke Duke, who live in a rural part of the fictional Hazzard County, Georgia with their attractive cousin Daisy and their wise old Uncle Jesse, as they race around in their customized 1969 Dodge Charger stock car, christened (The) General Lee, evading crooked county commissioner Boss Hogg and his inept county sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane, and always managing to get caught in the middle of the various escapades and incidents that often occur in the area.>>

Hmmm...I always thought it was Georgia. I'll have to check that.

I remember them going into Atlanta from time to time, never Nashville.

  • Bank of America: The Most Underappreciated Risk [View article]
With the U.S. continuing to pull more petroleum out of its (our) own soil, worries about our own reliance on Iran (should) decrease every day.

Managed intelligently (a stretch, I know), we could render Iran nearly irrelevant in a decade if we can continue to rely on more on our own resources and continue increasing our exports.
