I am a 60 year old with really not much investing education. This is why I am on Seeking Alpha, to learn from others. I made my first investment in November of 2012. I do think however, that I have accumulated life skills, seeing how I have a diversied working history. I am an educated Bookkeeper and am presently working as part-time after 3 years of being unemployed. I started working on my uncle's farm at 12 years old, for 25 cents per hour. I worked my way up to $9 per day when I was 18. Presently, I am trying to get some dividend income so that I do not have to live in poverty when I get really old. I have taken advantage of the Traditional IRA for the first time last year. It really help me alot for I got a pretty good tax refund, that I reinvested in stocks. I am not a big religionist person, but I will say this "God Bless our American Soul's".
