I live in Manhattan, work too much and have little time to trade, hence downhill. Thinking of cutting my losses and rolling my IRA into Vanguard funds and ETFs. For now I'm in AAPL, TWTR, TSLA, ABBV, GPRO, HOV and VVUS. Mostly high flying losers! The heady days are over I guess. It's 2016 and volatility rules the days. I'm becoming a real sourpuss! :-(

I have a diverse background—as a financial journalist, resident physician, mixed martial artist, painter, entrepreneur, chemistry instructor and web developer—that enabled me to pioneer the “Integrated Investing Research” approach.
I provide consulting to clients, both the retail and professional investors. I accurately forecasted many clinical trials, such as the Flint Trials for Intercept, the Ascend Trials for InterMune and the Affinity Trials MannKind, just to name a few. Through Vincata Enterprises, LLC, I helped many clients to unlock substantial values for their investments.
As an expert in biopharmaceutical analysis, I am also more than capable of analyzing any other industries. Though not shown on Seeking Alpha, I have picked an aggregate basket of outperforming stocks.
Investing in biotech is highly risky, but it can be quite rewarding when investors have an edge in data analysis. Physicians who are rigidly scientific tend to lack the analytical prowess of financial experts. Conversely, financiers usually do not possess a physician’s medical expertise. Likewise, scientists are skillful in data analysis; yet they might not be familiar with a physician’s prescribing patterns, which is a requisite to successful biotech investing.

I am a private investor, and my investing focus is on buying stocks that seem like good long term investments that also allow for the selling of covered calls to generate additional income. I am especially interested in the technology and biotech sectors.
Hope... It is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of humanity's greatest strength, and our greatest weakness.
There are two doors...
The door to your right leads to Reason and the salvation of your capital.
The door to your left leads back into the Matrix-- to shorting the stock and the end of your ego.
The problem is choice. But we already know what you are going to do, don't we?
Already I can see the chain reaction: the chemical precursors that signal the onset of an emotion, designed specifically to overwhelm logic and reason. An emotion that is already blinding you to the simple and obvious truth: That $TSLA will reach $200 and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
I'm probably the newest active trader on here... Just want to learn to swing trade for the active trading gods.

New to investing, reading all I can at the moment to learn as much as I can. Right now, I'm kind of a scalping trader, buy low, sell high. It's been working for me, for the most part. Thinking about retirement in near future, and interested in finding good growth stocks with dividend income.
