    Macro,

    Dave,

    The articles are probably written by the lawyer/politician in the bio while the task of responding to comments is left to his Mongolian intern, Nergui. Mongols work cheap. Give 'em a pound of yak butter and they'll comment away for hours.

    DVK,

    And as before, the comments appear to be written by different person(s) than the one who writes the articles.

    @Skep,

    A list of companies that passed some screen isn't the same as a list of buy recommendations.

    Screens are only starting points. Due diligence is up to the individual. Caveat emptor.

    DVK,

    You're right. The author did acknowledge he chose the title. My apologies to the editorial staff.

    BTW, do you note the very strong similarities between the author and the departed (and oft-maligned) The Independent Investor? It's deja vu all over again.

    Didn't the "bullish" Marc Faber just predict a 20 percent drop in the market?

    Okay, so he's bullish relative to your 40 percent prediction....

    So buy and hold MDY.

    But the larger question: If nobody can beat the indexes, why so many articles on how to beat the indexes? You EMH guys are a hoot.

    I was chastised by an SA editor for not showing the proper respect to a world-famous RIA who's written thousands of books and has trillions in assets under management....

    I wear these things as badges of pride.

    DVK,

    I was curious when Charliezap mentioned that Citi downgrade and $27 price target. . I haven't seen any reflection of it anywhere. On the other hand, Wells Fargo upgraded it to outperform on Tuesday.

    (I don't own O, but it's on my watch list)
