PS4 of $SNE will: be $100 cheaper, not require online authentication, be used-games friendly. Who would buy the Xbox One of $MSFT now?

    • AdamDivy: The main thing I can think of is certain game titles will only come on one system or the other, not both. A make it or break it for some.

    • oneotherfool: True. My guess is that popular games will be on both? BUT I'm not much of a gamer...

    • oneotherfool: ...so I'm not really sure how to evaluate these exclusive titles and whether or not they'll make a difference. It's a good point though.

    • beauW: Do you have a xBox 360 account? Do you own a Playstation? Do you play video games?

    • oneotherfool: I own PS3 and I did say above I'm not much of a gamer, so there maybe something I'm missing.

    • oneotherfool: I'm not sure what you're trying to get at, but what I'm sure about is that I'm not the only one with this reaction on this topic.

    • AdamDivy: I've heard other bad things... you have to be connected at all times, can't play used games without paying full price,

    • AdamDivy: hardware isn't as great as it should be... I got a PS3 just to play Gran Turismo. Worked out great as a blu-ray player and other web

    • AdamDivy: based apps.

    • Tales From The Future: The exclusives are of less importance with each generation, I don't see big advantages for either $SNE or $MSFT over time in Generation8.

    • Tales From The Future: My above comment was re exclusives only, of course. in general, $MSFT seems to have done everything wrong, 1st year sales just 21 countries.

    • oneotherfool: The only difference now is pricing; PS4 still $100 cheaper than Xbox One. Keeping in mind that Xbox one comes with Kinect.
