  • The Government Shut Down Will Pass [View article]
    Indeed a good article

I agree with you a default is not likely to happen.

but what worries me is that comparing markets in the past is nowadays difficult

people change as wel as present situations and markets see the FED balance 17 years ago and now.

politicians are loosing sence both ways republican and democrats

its all about their ego now and not what is the best for the people or nation.

  • Don't Believe European Bank Capital Ratios [View article]
Untill the German Elections in september you will hear nothing from the ECB. I think their are a lot of threats in the banking and economy.
but they remain in silence. We are getting a long and cold winter.
Beware of Spain Italy and France i do not even count Greece and Cyprus they are only the catalist. The do not want to endanger Merkels reign. But after that problems will fast occur

  • Chart Of The Day, Fed-Tightening Edition [View article]
Larry every deed of the FED will bounce back later. Whatever they do
They buy some time not more. The markets will hunt them down

I agree with te writer that the markets are loosing their confidence in the FED. How many speakers did we had the last two weeks who told us we misunderstood Bernancke. I do not think so. In his way he was very clear. QE is not the everlasting solution. For Wallstreet yes
but for the economy it is doubtfull

  • S&P 500: Do Not Buy This Dip [View article]
What will happen when intrest rises on bonds
As I understand people are going to shares in stead of bonds

Bernancke is in a difficult position. Yes the US is recovering but to slow and at what costs. Dont think will last very long. In a few months it will happen.

The story of follow the FED remembers me of lemmings and that ends not well

  • S&P 500: Do Not Buy This Dip [View article]
    Dear Jaimini,

What do you think about the present debt created by the FED
and an artificial increase of stocks.

What I read mostly on seeking alpha is the mantra Oooh when its going wrong Bernancke creates money. You can not do this unlimited and unpunished to keep stocks growing and interest rates low.

Buying the dips will make a lot of victems and we all know it happens when the fishing net are fully loaded.

My guess is that Central banks ww have over estimated their possibilities

  • Why This Bull Will Probably Keep Running For At Least Another Year [View article]
I am curious how the FOMC reacts this evening.
    and tomorrow the ECB.
As far as I can judge the performance is way out of line with the reality.
I realy doubt if QE works out in the end. What do works slowly now are the effects of the sequestation
The shortterm effects every month works. But the fundamentals are not in line with the reality
I do not see it and certainly not the macro s of the last two weeks.
Sentiment is OK but the rest how long will it take before the bear eats the bull.

As well the differance in physical gold and mining company shares are way out of line. Nothing seems normal nowadays.

I hope for the bulls that i am wrong but I see the bubble burst in the next weeks Even bankers must have enough by now

  • Sell In May? [View article]
    Excellent article

but I am a little worried markets rise on FED and ECB measures not on performance. The cards are differently scuffled nowadays.

Take the relationship gold and the shares of mining companies they are way out of line.

Interest rates are way to low and in Europe we see an negative on bonds were we see the money floates from club med to the north.
A sign of confidence I do nt think so.

I would sell in may and probably be back in the end of november
hopefully the lava is nt so hot anymore

  • Spending 8 Days With Bernanke [View article]
Very interesting article but remember the fundamentals.
acts of FED and ECB and BOJ are longtime killers.
as well as the meaningless policy of politicians.
FOMC and every central bank will keep the mob easy
because their is no way of return. I wonder sometimes if they believe their own stories build on hope.

you can only build a limited time on sand soon summer will be over

  • 5 Reasons Why I Am Shorting The Market [View article]
This 400 billion+ dollars is a silent killer under the US economy

This amount of money and mostly the greater parts of it finds its way
to people who takes a lot of risk. The thought behind it is oke

But in practice the majority of this pile of money is the seed for the next bubble due to the greedyness of men

Most of you guys rely on the FED

but no one thinks probably about the long term effects of the sequester and further tax increase

The FED will surely stop this year
