Nice article, our firm specializes in working the market via ETFs. One of our work horses is GDX. GDX is global gold and silver miners. This index is a proxy for Gold, via GLD. Big plus is that it is optionable. We create spreads and collars to harvest the ETF monthly. We do this as sub-advisors on multiple platforms. hedged income is the game. limit the risk, gain the commodity exposure.
