The last paragraph talks about something that has been on my mind for a while. How is it that Shell can't find it in their hearts to employ some of Nigeria's less fortunate as guards for their oil infrastructure? Maybe we would be better off sending helicopter Ben to drop some money on the rebels rather than cutting rates a measely 25 bps and adding fuel to the fire behind oil's runup.
