  • Buy Bank Of America Before Investors Want To Tap The Interest Rate Honey Pot  [View article]
I have 3400 shares of dead money sitting in BAC for the last several months that only sheer stubborness has made me keep. I too hate everythig about BAC. It seems like they only hire the rudest and most arrogant employees. I remember my mother taking me to BAC to open my first bank account when I was 9. I was so excited to do this adult fiscal act that was to be the beginning of my future financial stability. I will never forget how incredibly rude and nasty the big man behind the desk in new accounts was. It kind of crushed my young spirit and hurt my feelings and I have always remembered it. And here they are keeping that same reputation going with their rude employees today. I am holding on to my shares for now but when I dump them I won't go back. One would think they would have addressed their terrible reputation by now. I was 9 years old then and I am 59 now. A half of a century and they can't even address poor customer service and relations!!!!!

  • Icahn publishes new Apple letter; shares near $125  [View news story]
Me too Samantha. I bought back in after the split at 85, 96 and 107. I have the majority or my portfolio in there. Sure wish I had kept my NFLX,DIS and AMZN and BRK-B. But alas one never knows - not even about apple. But it is now a 710 billion dollar company so... Earlier I also bought at the peak price as I traded it - then it fell. But it did recover. I have had to sell very few losers. I am still long BAC and sitting on very little profit. I should have sold it and bought appl.

  • Zacks' Bull Of The Day: Apple  [View article]
I think someone should write a free lance article for the business section of the LA Times - no not me - I wish. I am not qualified. BUT it is so clear to all of us AAPL investors that the stock is manipulated big time by a few analysts with too much power and not enough exposure to what is happening!! This has been going on Way too long. Am I alone here?? Surely something can be done to expose these greedy manipulators for what they are. Any one have any ideas?

  • Apple Significantly Undervalued Compared To Google  [View article]
Why doesn't apple split? It seems a good argument that it would then bring in younger investors who would be in for the long haul and continue brand loyalty as consumers and investors. What am I missing as to why there is no talk os splitting?

  • Apple's Risk-Reward Ratio Makes It A No-Brainer  [View article]
My story too. It would be a crazy story if I did not own the stock. But having a large position at almost its peak is torture. So many opinions. I just can't get past Tim Cook's arrogant silence and adding insult to injury he is taking his time with the buybacks - like he wants to continue to damage price and credibility. Maybe he does need to go. Maybe he is so rich he does not care if e takes down apple. I sure hope not. I want to be positive but this bad news has dragged on and on and on.

I agree with this post writers point on the school system. The best move apple could make in indoctrinating kids. And yes the fingerprint scan is what is needed.

  • Why Apple Is Undervalued By As Much As 50%  [View article]
I AGREE 100%. I love the buy back and dividend but the ads are pathetic. Everything they have done since the cascading spiral of share price has been way too little and way too late and it just boggles my mind. I am horrified with myself for going back in with 300 shares at 667.00. Temporary insanity and I had a chance to get out at 376.00 and stayed long. Then Tim Cook and his minions did absolutely nothing to stem the hemorrhage and these ego driven muppet analysts started frothing at the mouth at making 100.00 to write articles creating mass pandemonium. Appalling to watch when one is so heavily invested with ones portfolio. I am responsible and accountable for my choice but who would have expected Tim Cook to be so pathetic and passive and incompetent? Someone please tell me he is just calm because he wanted to buy back the stock low and then release some incredible game changer. It all just makes no sense.

  • Apple Hits $400: Is Now The Time For Dividend Growth Investors To Get In?  [View article]
No one has ever suggested this but.... I like the idea of an inecklace. The fashion statements ie works of art, colors, materials used are limitless. Maybe have interchangeable cases to go from casual to more formal or sporty. And you would not have to fish a phone out of a purse or pocket. Just make the inecklace the size of an iwatch. It could be used with fingerprint scan id, used to buy, get directions etc etc but turn it over and its a piece of jewelry. I would buy it. Am I crazy ladies?

  • "We have some incredible plans that we have been working on for a while," says Tim Cook (AAPL) at an AllThingsD conference talk. Some of those plans could still involve a TV - Cook reiterates the market is of "great interest" and that the current experience is outdated (John McCain seems to agree). Cook also: 1) Declares Google Glass to be a niche product, while adding (in a possible iWatch hint) the broader wearable computing market is a very interesting area. 2) States Apple will likely offer more developer options for customizing iOS, but wants to preserve the user experience. 3) Once more hints Apple isn't opposed to a bigger iPhone per se (previous), only one that doesn't meet its standards. I have been thinking the same thing for a while now. This is keeping down the investor moral as much as anything. There is no spark of excitement now and for Apple's future. There has been SOOOO much negativity that all thing apple are just out of balance. We need someone who can transform this before it does anymore damage.

  • Apple Has Become The Most Underrated Stock  [View article]
This is a valid point and long overdue to be addressed. Many of us dod not bail - we have hung in there. I have had a paper loss of 63,000$. There is no excuse for the lack of concern for investors.
