  • Will Joy Global Bring Joy To Its Shareholders? [View article]
Maybe the situation of coal in the US, is as exposed in this article and other ones I read before, but, when I see Germany involve in the biggest increase of coal consumption since maybe last 50 years, for generating electricity, and some indications Poland and Check republic could go in the same direction, maybe others? I have serious doubts about the switch from coal to gas outside US (and Canada), specially when we see how expensive is the Russian gas in europe! So, my question is, wich market penetration has Joy in the German and Polish coal market, if its big, revenues will increase big too !

  • Firm Natural Gas Prices And A Lower Canadian Dollar Make Penn West A Good Bet [View article]
Maybe the Keystone XL issue, is a consequence of diferent comercial interest between companies. Today the big US oil companies have all their financial rsources developing all the oil found at home and dont have resources to develop in Canada, so, delaying the project will give them time to profit at home, and generating resources to develop future aquistions in Canada while keeping the stock prices of canadian companies cheap for takeover in the future? With the lobbing staff they have in Washington, that dont sound very dificult?

  • Lightstream Resources Oversold And Undervalued With Potential Upside In Excess Of 40% [View article]
The alternative to the Keystone pipeline would be pipelines to the west coast to export to asia, thats very clear for me (and even if Keystone pipeline goes ahead asia would be a better market!!), but, question is?? Wich is the time frame to have the infrastructures to export to asia ready (not only pipelines also ports)? Because that would be what makes the diferences in this oil companies! Masanobu, thanks for your information about new ships building, but, why you believe they would be to carry, crude or gas from Canada, and not from any othe source in the world? Just asking.

  • Will Silver Wheaton Plummet Further? [View article]
The bigest threat in my opinión, in the long term is mines closing, but if Im right most of the streaming agreement of SLW comes from subproduct of other metals, what I dont know is wich proportion? I asume if silver goes down..., more, mining compaanies also, so future streaming agreements with those survivors, would be in much more better conditions, again, I asume?

Honestly, for me the fact that is listed in HKSE, is a guarantee, much more guarantee than NASDAQ looking past statistics, much more diferent would have been my opinión if it was listed in "mainland" stock markets (Shangai and so), where I have been burn like many others!!

  • Uralkali Stuns The Potash Market: The New Era Begins [View article]
Agree I don see how Uralkali will benefit fro pushing prices down, besides puting pressure on Belaruskali, for been sold to them? Besides that, sounds very ambitious grow production from 10 million to 13 (30% more), and if so, even if the have railway connection with China, can they increase so easily the rail infrastructure for that increase in sales?? What I know is, that after yesterday fall in Price of all the potash producers, if some of the Russian tycoons was interested to buy Belaruskali, they would have realice that to buy or take a big stake in any Canadian producer, was a 30% cheaper that the day before.

  • Spain - Hope Springs Eternal [View article]
I cant argue most of the facts of th article because they are true, but, lets look diferent. Where in south (sunny) europe, you can buy today real state properties at 1000€ or 800€ x sq meter? Where in south (sunny) europe, you have the infrastructures like new airports (most of them empty Im agree!) or new roads and highways like in spain? Italy, is much more expensive and in infrastructures have not the same level.Greece or Croatia for sure real state prices are not so low, and infrastructures ar far, far far behind, and believe me, what it is not constructed (in infrastrucutures) in south europe right now, would not be in the next 20 years at least!!! So, if the corruption in the political statement (specially in local, regarding real state) diminish, and the public banks (full of corrupted and ignorant politicians in their boards), desapear, whats equals more legal safety, where any north europe citizen would find a better bargain place to have a house in the sun, at 2 hours flight time, and full of macro airports (empty of trafic, half of them) every 100 km? I havent consider France here, because even the french Riviera can not be consider a sunny (at least hot) place out of 3 months a year but if someone have a lot of patience can search for real state properties there at 1000€ sqm miracles exist. So the real state crisis is a matter of political problem and vicious public banks more than a market problem without solution, at least at 1000€ sqm, in my opinion
