Gold vs. silver: Reasons for investing in both still abound, but they're not the same - silver looks more like tulips lately, while gold is still gold. There are key differences: not only in supply of the metals, but the out-of-whack gold-silver price ratio. [View news story]
THNX, SIMPLE AND VERY EASILY UNDERSTOOD FOR LAY PEOPLE SUCH AS MYSELF, VERY INFORMATIVE.

Yea, keep thinking that as the world heads into one of the worst inflationary periods ever in recorded history. With the dollar collapse; what will this do to your computations and analysis..?

OK so I like many others, took a recent bath with the SIlver Crash/Correction. Can anyone tell me how to recoup 7300$ today? I mean it went away in one day, what are the chances of getting it back the same way.
Really, this all seems like Monday Quarterbacking the Sunday games. Lots of peops are taking 'cudos' for callin the sharp downturn, howbeit an ever on-going daily warning.
With exceptance of a few who genuiunely seemed to have it right, yours truly not inclusive in that club of pros. But hey, I did say it was gonna come down, sooner or later.
As I said before, I am new to all this, but I am looking for a mentor and I promise to be a good student so long as you can teach me how to select the winners, I will follow you anywhere. You say jump, I say how high? I am anxious to get started winning cause Lord knows I have this losing thing down pat.
I am a gambler at heart, not afraid to 'put it out there', but I sorta want to gleen an understanding as to why I am doing thus and so. Watching the Daily Post just seem to get me in trouble, "go long on SLV and GLD", well, I did. re; see first paragraph.
Hope someone can/will help, let me hear some serious plans/schemes on how to place a wager and get some of my money back today, OK this week.

Very good comments, easy to follow and thats what I need. I am new to 'all this'. I started a new 'personal journey' for me about ayear ago, to learn as much as I can about the stock market and trading my own trades. I have a portfolio of around fifty k and right now mostly in precious metals, still long on silver and gold. I know diversification is the norm but I am learning on my own,and for months now I have been watching slv and gld climb. Most everyone preached 'long on slv and gld' and suddenly lessons on 'corrections'. Wassup? I know its not my slv. I am still long, is this right or wrong?
