See my comments in "Screwed!" (Letter from the CEO, macCompanion magazine, March 2009 issue) (scroll down to it) on being nailed by Apple for a (non) wet iPhone (not covered by the warranty) that didn't have the "pinkified" wet sensor, yet still cost over $500 to replace. Yes, it did get wet in the clothes washer. No, the wet sensor (inside the earplug hole) was still white on the surface.
Apple iPhones are aquaphobes! Is that annoying or what? Apparently, the Achilles heel of iPhones is moisture. That is just bad design when other cellphones can be operated in hot tubs without a problem.

In the fog of war, some things may have been "enhanced" , but one thing is for sure, John Kerry did the USA and the military a dis-service when he "testified" in front of Congress that the US military personnel were murderers and baby killers and the Communists loved him for it. He did more to end that war unfavorably than all the efforts by North Vietnam. He should have been brought up on charges of aiding and abetting the enemy and tried for treason. He was the Communist's "secret weapon".
It would appear that the rumor mill can make or break financial worth of companies and I suspect the SEC will be investigating why an intentional message was sent to hurt Apple's Stock. I doubt the offendors will get off as easily as John Kerry.

I helped a person over in Bellevue, WA get his Apple Airport wireless system replaced by Apple, since it was one that landed in a series of "bad Apples" and it was replaced for free. This was a few years ago.
What did you do to get your wireless system up-and-running? Did you get another Apple unit or go elsewhere? And have you used a Mac yet? The reason the Apple computer systems are selling like hotcakes is because they are more robust than the competition and any OS can run on them that is designed for microComputers. The pain points are mostly responded to by Apple and their tech support has improved with time and experience. So has the overall computing experience.
Don't sell Apple "short". ;^)
Personally I like "them Apples" just fine - and I'm not Steve.
