    What keep the US dollar in demand was the OPEC agreement to sell oil in US dollars.

    The US was selling the oil tickets to the worldwide energy carnival.

    The problem now is that oil producing countries are accepting other currencies.

    But -- when the war profiteers start spending those freshly printed bills prices will go up. The dollar purchasing power will go down.
