Then came out with unbelievable second quarter results with exceptionally poor lack lustre guidance and now sells 5 million shares to pay 125.5 million USD margin call= 25.1 USD.. The stock price is going down some more. I wonder how many shares he has? Starbucks please buy GMCR and get rid of this poor example of a manager....
Wedbush isn't waiting for Facebook's (FB) IPO to start coverage with an Outperform and $44 PT, well above its $28-$35 IPO range. The firms says it expects Facebook to take share from both offline and online advertisers, and thinks it will make the expanded use of Facebook Credits (currently dependent on Zynga and a few other game developers) a 2012 priority. The PT is based on 22x Wedbush's FY15 (!) EPS estimate of $2. [View news story]
a valuation based on filings or is there a conflict lying somewhere- WEDBUSH kissing MZ arse.......are they even in on the deal? 1. FB is a hype 2. FB has falling revenues 3. FB GM currently are loftly but also stagnating 4. What about privacy 5. FB is nothing else but a picture viewer like the name suggest and obviously is the worlds next big thing but can they truly monetize it profitably? I wonder what the lock up periods are for the underwriters?

Google (GOOG) M&A chief David Lawee bolsters speculation his company will make a bid for Pinterest by calling the white-hot bulletin board site "extraordinary," and capable of helping Google with what he calls "the most challenging problem" faced by the company: the discovery of video content. In spite of YouTube's phenomenal growth, its discovery mechanisms are viewed as a weak spot. [View news story]
Google needs to block FB from using youtube. There goes video from FB and leaves it as only a picture sharing website.

TECHNICALLY- the stock is moving in 1 direction-down, taking a position now, if only for dividend is ok, but for profit is a no go. Only once the stock breaks through its resistence it will shoot to 16 Euros. The company is a dinaosaur on speed and in our current environment needs to loose a lot of weight if it wants to remain competitive.

It all depends on the lock up period for selling the shares...otherwise it does not matter as Instagram shareholders will sell on the IPO date for an exuberant amount.....
Heading into Apple's (AAPL) April 24 FQ2 report, Gene Munster predicts his favorite company will report it sold 33M iPhones, 12M iPads, and 4.3M Macs during the quarter - consensus forecasts stand at 30.5M, 13M, and 4.4M, respectively. In spite of the conservative iPad forecast, Munster believes demand is healthy, noting "wait times at Apple's online store remain at 1-2 weeks." He also expects an Apple TV set to be announced late this year. (Barclays) (Sterne Agee) [View news story]
There's no clear trigger behind the latest selloff in Apple (AAPL -3.4%); shares are now down 9% from their Tuesday high. Some speculate Texas Instruments' (TXN) addition to the NASDAQ 100 (QQQ) is playing a role, as index funds will need to sell some Apple to rebalance, but that can't explain why fellow large-cap index members Microsoft (MSFT +0.9%) and Intel (INTC +1%) are up. With Apple still up 43% YTD, perhaps a breather was inevitable. [View news story]
