  • Revisiting Gasfrac: 40% Revenue Growth, 75% Off All-Time High [View article]
Like all game changing technologies, change goes thru 4 distinct phases:

    1) first, the concept is ridiculed.
    2) second, the change is vehemently opposed.
    3) third, it is reluctantly accepted.
    4) fourth, well anyone would have known it was a good idea.

I believe we appear to be in stage two.

Assuming the eggheads of GFS have discovered and created the patented technology they claim that substantially increases ROI, which is currently being corroberated by customer experience such as Husky in Canada, what they need now is a management team to market and sell the industry on their technology (stage two of change) ... they are so close, I can smell the cigar.

Forget the environmental benefits ... they're a bonus. Any patented technology that substantially increases both annual production and ultimate recovery of an oil/gas field, even considering the initial increased cost of the technology, should be sought after by a major oil company or any sovereign country or juristiction that needs a waterless fracking technology, Ie. middle east, Texas, NY etc.

Long GFS @ $6+ and dollar cost averaging at this price.

  • Why I Believe in Thin Film Solar Technology [View article]
On flat, (commercial/institutional and industrial),roofs, cylindrical thin film arrays require a white surfaced roof . The reflectivity provides 'indirect' sun light which the solar system needs to perform to peak efficiency.

Roof systems often use a white TPO, EPDM or some other single-ply roof.

Flat roofs collect dirt in the air very quickly and the once white roof, now completely covered with solar arrays, loses this indirect sun and peak performance is reduced, thus reducing the economics of superior, long-term profitability often hyped with cylindrical thin film.

    Buyers beware!!
