  • Is U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara Smarter Than A 5th Grader? [View article]
In my humble opinion, Preet Bharara is a schoolyard bully. Admittedly, he is quite smart but I would categorize him as Rudy Guiliani on Steroids. He should bring cases and prosecute them fairly. However, in many cases, he invokes the threat of RICO and therein lays the hook that makes guilty people confess and innocent people cry. I have a friend who was convicted by Baharara and his band of merry men strictly by association with one of the guilty participants with whom he shared an office. Three others charged in associated cases gave testimony against my friend even though they did not know him and he never knew or met the 3 members charged. My friend was the last holdout and had to sell his home to pay his legal expenses. Other members made restitution, his former partner returning over $10 million. My friend had no assets to speak of and yet Preetie Bird had the audacity to claim that my friend was an active participant in this crime.

Preet Bharara is a good servant of the government but this time he went in for the kill without knowing all the facts. I wonder how many of his other convictions are a result of overreaching his legal boundaries?

  • Sprouts Farmers Market's CEO Discusses Q3 2013 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
At the end of the day it's still a Supermarket chain not a Tech or Biotech company. They are experiencing super margins because they are effectively rolling up smaller chains into their network and the deals are accretive. I don't know what the due diligence process for Organic Supermarkets looks like but they will find "turds" in their mushrooms or they will have a massive recall of some Home Grown Vegetable that causes some horrible disease in short people......I don't know when but I sure think that something will happen. And when it does happen, the Oracles of Wall Street will blink twice and say, "hey, its only a food store chain not a Tech Company".!!!!!!

This stock could be my short of 2014.....maybe 2013....who knows?

Michael...you like IHC but dislike AMIC???? I don't understand...AMIC is the engine that makes IHC grow. I know this Company's management going back close to 40 years and they have always been clever entrepreneurs in whatever sectors they engaged. Contact the Company and discuss your issues. They will be able to explain whatever you don't understand...especially since they share the same officers and directors.
Let me know how you make out.....I own about 14k AMIC shares
