I didn't work in anything related to my investing interests. My trading varies: Usually a mix short to long term, often to not often. Usually long term but when events are about to happen it can work out. I prefer penny story stocks but may follow for years before investing if at all.
American citizen, have made almost every business mistake to be made, but enjoy learning and taught history. Have owned construction/real estate company, hotel, have health and nutrition bus and lecture, weekly health talk radio program for 3 years, have been on boards of tech companies, enjoy researching and discovering small companies with good risk/rewards potential. I use both fundamental and tech analysis. Have no ego when selling and keep losses small. I ask God for guidance in life and give thanks for my blessings and family. Always do your own research and decide for yourself and with your financial advisor for anything I might comment upon. I'm 66 but usually feel 36. Good luck
Just an old guy with a varied background in automotive, physics, materials, social services, land & business planning.
Love the outdoors, especially in the Pacific Northwest. Live in an urban setting, but have had visits from couger and bears in my trees. Bust and tote (70lbs) my own wood for heat and can debate with any about any. Know lots and yearn for more!
Investing is a new game for me, but manageing money has been my forte all my life.
A super liberal, realist, with some conservative fiscal leanings.
Since I am scared of few, Ron is another of my aliases.

Old Geezer that listened to parents that lived through the Great Depression. Am a USAF veteran and proud grandpa of twelve grandkids. I am trying to learn enough to be a good investor and have met many great and tolerant (I ask a lot of questions) people here on SA.
Let's see, Veteran (Vietnam era), Commercial Artist, picture framer, industrial engineer & corporate executive (once upon a time), small business owner and operator, Ayn Rand fan, Libertarian (and no, its not a synonym for "Republican" or "Conservative"), and history buff. Serious investor, I need to earn money from my assets, and I'm of the age where I pull money out to help put food on the table. I like to fish, but just as with my investing, I am a "meat fisherman", I only kill what I plan to consume.
I'm an Independent investor with a passion for equity research. I'm usually long term minded, but occasionally engage in short term trades.
My trading style focuses primarily on fundamentals, with short term technicals occasionally commanding my attention. I believe that making money in the market requires forward thinking investment objectives, patience, confidence, and a trading ethic that embraces the opportunities presented by short term downtrends.
