  • How big pharma sells A.D.H.D  [View news story]
    Look at the recent book "Lead Wars". Among many other problems, even a tiny exposure to lead (mostly from paint) can cause damage. And one of the types of damage documented to occur following lead exposure is ADHD. Tragic that the lead paint problem continues. My granddaughter was exposed.

  • An appeals court ruling yesterday that dismissed the conviction of a sales rep who sold a drug for non-FDA approved uses could have major ramifications for pharmaceutical companies, which have paid billions in fines for doing just that. Two out of three judges agreed with Alfred Caronia that his rights to free speech were violated.     The concern is that some companies put together well organized campaigns to push particular unapproved uses for drugs. Doctors are capable of being snowed or manipulated.

    I'm puzzled by the statement about lifelong immunity. There are a lot of vaccines currently on the market and NONE that I've come across provide lifelong immunity. The track record is weak. For example, the chickenpox vaccine was expected to provide lifelong immunity, in the U.S. we are up to two doses and breakthrough cases continue to occur.
